Here's the tutorial:

Hope you like it too!! :hbeat:

Fantastic, I've been meaning to try this knot. And can I just say how marvelous your design & color way choices are. What a lovely collection you have.

This was my attempt at @Yoon daily scarf 's snail knot, I really like it so much, although later in the day I added the simple variation of tying the ends. Sorry, forgot to take a photo of that!

Twins with you @Bova123 , such a happy scarf! Nice snail knot! I have not mastered this one yet but seeing all the great results here inspires me to try again.

I like this variation on the Infinity Knot using 2 x 90 carres. It adds a lot of silk bulk so it is good in providing winter warmth (good if you live in a winter climate like me). The fun is in choosing 2 scarfs that will look harmonious together (my preference) or you could choose 2 contrasting (e.g opposites on the colour wheel).
From the archives (alas those Covid pounds!) with the original issue orange Marche du Zambezie and La Danse du Cheval du Marwari.

I recently picked up a second colorway of Pavement. I used a bias fold, with a bit of a twist, then a simple knot. The large Tahitian pearl in my pendant is from Kamoka and was set at T Lee Custom Designer Jewelry.

Pretty! I love how you do your mod shots outdoors. I hope you have a warm coat waiting for you just offstage though! :)

I have fallen terribly behind (and on such a wonderful week, too!), but for good reasons--several rounds of interviews for a new job. I waded into the shallows of ban island to pick up an international scarf purchase that finally arrived (purchased around New Year's!), Les Amazones by Dumas. No time for fancy knots today, so an old standby, set slightly off center using a MaiTai Zero gravity ring.

It has one of those tiny folded care tags, so it must be original issue. Does anyone know whether that was 1968 or 1976? Trusted internet sources give two different dates.

I do not know what happened here, but I can tell you this mistake brightened my evening: I habe seen this group live, they are a blast. And Vincenzo Capezzuto is made for stage performance! If only I can remember what scarf I wore that day...

do not even bother to completely unfold, throw rectangle around neck, fixate with scarf ring:View attachment 4999841View attachment 4999842
Hi Twin - I love both of these knots!
Carrés en Carré in my #1 preferred bias fold, double wrap. Last week 7F, today 80F. Texas, my Texas.
Very handsome!
Oh it's a good idea! Hope we all do that. I'll post my tut. to How to tie thread

Thank you so much, dear @scarf1 !:hbeat: I can't wait to see!

Thank you so much, dear @Living.la.vida.fifi
Your C-C knot variation is so beautiful.
I'll try this knot with my other scarves and show you next time  Your arrangements inspired me a lot, always. And I can't wait to see your 'C.D. bias fold knot'! :yahoo:

Your Half bow knot is so neat and beautiful!
And I love your SOTD, this elegant scarf goes so well with your dark grey colored sweater and silver necklace  Perfect tone-on-tone coordination

Your Appaloosa is stunning!! ♡ Oh I love this vibrant colors. And your scarf choice for riding lesson is also great!

I love your gavroche! Yellow hemline is so cute ♡ And your silver scarf rings look so exquisite, they add gorgeous accents to your knots! Love them all, dear @xincinsin :hbeat:

Dearest @Cookiefiend, thanks for your sweet words! Yes I made a bow at the end with double rings. Actually, my CD snail knot starts from this CD bias fold knot! To tie them is almost same  I can't wait to see your CD bias knot!!!!

Oh and to adjust my bows :
1. I tie the knot, not too much tightly
2. Twist both ends to make flat bow :
Twist the both ends of knot gently
so that they can be positioned
in the same plane.
3. Spread and adjust hemlines
of the both ends (tails) of my bow :
I tried to make each tails symmetrically
4. If you finish to adjust your tails,
the gently fasten your knot tightly for fixation
-> And it's done!

Oh hope my direction works for you...
I tried - and will post in a min - but got lost somewhere... I will keep trying though!

:girlsigh: That is just the prettiest - look at that purple hem! :girlsigh:
I have so much catching up to do later! I received scarf mail yesterday and I tried @yoon daily scarf’s snail knot, actually the variation of it in the video (around 1:37 for Yoon DS’s knot and the variation follows it). I like it! Legende Kuna Peuple de Panama.

Then I retied it in a bias fold. Wearing my Sacred Buffalo pendant and used a ss and turquoise ring as my scarf ring. View attachment 5000610
Lovely!
Second of two SOTD contributions today, couldn’t resist wearing my new to me scarf mail of Lê Geographie which is literally straight out of the package! This design, along with Orgauphone, have been on my wish list for ever as my collection is missing those particular jacquard designs.

Not a colourway I’d normally pick but it really does make the jacquard sparkle!!!

Congratulations - I think this is a perfect pairing - your sweater pulls out the blues from the scarf!

Really nice and what a great idea!
Quickly scrolled through this morning's posts and will catch up later on all the wonderful carres and knots! Meanwhile, I am going to the vet and have on MZ in Yoon's quick chain d'ancre wrap around. Here's a photo. Just want to point out that I color coordinated my puppy to my scarf!!!

Now - you're gonna break the internets with this photo! Darling, darling puppy!

Pretty! I love how you do your mod shots outdoors. I hope you have a warm coat waiting for you just offstage though!
Thank you, Langsam. I think that natural sunlight shows the scarf colors best. The summer pictures were taken in my backyard, but it is currently knee deep in snow. So, I'm taking the winter pictures in my driveway, just steps from the door to my house. We do keep the driveway clear of snow.

This is such a marvelous design and I can understand why you are enthralled with it. I am as well, as my grandfather was Spanish and I love Spanish dance.
I also took flamenco classes, but flunked out because I was the class clown. My daughter took Spanish dance classes for seven years and did all the competitions and shows.
But, even without a connection to Spanish dance and culture, it is a great design. I thought you might enjoy seeing mine
