Lent begins tomorrow, so it's time for a parade with La Folle Parade. This was the first scarf I purchased from h.com and it is also the first Hermes scarf from French artist Claire Fanjul. Before purchasing I took a look at the other work done by this young artist. I loved her drawings of imaginative worlds and the crazy drawings on ostrich eggs. But, it was her edgy drawings on ceramic skulls that made me comfortable pulling the trigger to purchase the scarf. I continue to follow the work of this most interesting artist.

Your ensemble is so bright and cheery, RBH, and your cw of LFP is stunning. That hem! Iagree, Ms Fanjul’s art is delightful. This is two La Folles paraded this week!

Love esp. your Robe du Soir ... and thank you, Cookie!
That’s two scarves, Cookiefiend!? They look wonderful together.
 So many beauties - love the bees of Napoleon, but your L'Hiver en Posts with the fab sweater with those cuffs =
They all go so well with your striped shirts, Cookie! Love them!
Thank you so much!
OH my! A Paris - London! :faint:
stay warm! the flowers are my fav part of this design as well.

not sure I remember this cW! So pretty!

so wonderful in pink!

wonderful n you!

OMG each more beautiful than the next!
and so clever with the last 2 scarves, I had to look really closely to see that there are 2.

Love that Chasse en afrique,
Thank you so much!
I didn't realize that I had two very brown scarves (one more brown than brown I think), I hoped they would work well together - and they do! :giggle:
I am also a big fan of Florence Manlik! So far I only have her Tresors de Medors, but I also love her Faune Letree (which I found in adorable gav form off TRR, but had to return because of the condition  ), BdG en Finesse, and Etude pour un Parure de Gala for their fine, almost etched, detail.

Archive pic of TdM because it's cooooooold, and you guys don't want to see my ridiculous get-up for staying warm.

High Five Fellow Fan! :ghi5:
I love this scarf - I have been tempted by it since seeing it for the first time - it is so elegant.
I found one, but it was out of my budget (and I have already been a very bad cookie currently spending time on Ban Island - send cookies!), so I deleted it from my lists.
I am enjoying it vicariously through you!

I nearly missed out on it! I think I saw it for the first time not long after it would have been released, and though it was the first design in a long time that made my trigger finger itch (I had been on self-imposed exile from H for something like years), I convinced myself that I didn't really neeeeeeed it, so I should let it be.

Then I started reading tPF again, and...well, you know.

My favorite Hermès designer is Aline Honoré. I know I have shown my treasured silks by this master before, but please indulge me as I gather them together and show them again this week. Beginning with my beloved Parures de Samourais... first the 90s, followed by the CSGMs

Twins on the PdS collection! Oh my! I LOVE the Tous Les Bateaux du Monde CSGM!
I think I love this colorway the best! If you have a moment, could you post a photo of this flat?
Absolutely! I will tag you when I post it later. I almost rehomed this colorway until I came to my senses. The combination of colors is so unique and I have nothing like it at all in my collection.
Thank you, my dear friend ... waiting for your pic...
My 2nd CW is the rosé below

Twins and cousins!! Love the dark colorway of Les Bateaux du Monde!! Wish I had nabbed one when I saw several recently. I am being very good though with my new “one per design“ resolution.

How wonderful! Thanks for the background info on the artist!

Mythiques Phoenix by fave designer Toutsy. I have (cough, cough) several of this design. Cotton stole today. The bird is very brightly coloured, but I usually get just the palm fronds when I wrap it round my neck for warmth.
View attachment 4992237
And speaking of palm fronds, that's Neighbour's Cat posing as a palm fruit under that frond. The others are flowers blooming in and around my home on the first day of Lunar New Year. Flowers symbolize the spring which the new year heralds. Top left corner, Dracaena fragrans, known locally as "metal tree" which rarely blooms and, when it does, is considered an omen of great fortune. Next is a small white flower - first bloom of my chilli plant. Then the flower and fruit of noni trees which grow along the roadside. Bottom right corner is a mango in my garden surrounded by mango flowers, then Oncidium or Golden Shower orchids which are dangling from a neighbour's fence, growing happily without soil. And finally, tubular purple blooms on an air plant Tillandsia which DH resurrected from a dried clump that someone threw out.

Hands down this cotton stole is my favorite colorway.

Ahhh, visions & dreams of Spring :girlsigh:
I just love the expression on MP’s face.

This is beautiful on you
(I do not need another pink scarf... I do not need another pink scarf... )

More L beauties (sisters on the P-L 1860) :ghi5:

Yesterday I wore Ledoux’s Trois Mousquetaires—before and after lunch: View attachment 4992381View attachment 4992382
Looks great with those hoops
& I love the bunched second tie.

Tuesday - so it must be a Two-4-Tuesday!
It’s really had to pick a favorite with H, there’s just so much to love. Today, I’ll show two of my faves that are a little off the beaten path.
First - Florence Manlik. Last year I posted some of her artwork - it was so beautiful, and so lyric with its sweeps and swirls of color. And that carries right into my favorite scarves.
Robe de Soir (and Pop)

These are too much silky beautifulness :whiteflag: Your monochrome JL rainbow, lT worn with stripes, that serene Equator... and I think we’re twinners on the CdF

Going for confidence, here’s my kick @$$ SOTD, Bouquets Sellier silk 90, <I look confident, I feel confident, I am confident. Whispers to self.>
Thank goodness for scarfies, I fixed up my lipstick before the call.
