Back home - and you guessed it - it’s gray...

beautiful, Foxy!Scarf mail - please pardon my chapped lips I’ve been outside in 25 degree weather and rain/snow mix at least 7x today with our puppy. My skin, hair, and lips are rebelling. @scarf1 i am proud to say you finally have a twin for your patchwork horse! Cousins with many of you @labelo, @momasaurus @Croisette7 and @Awillow come to mind! It’s gorgeous and totally think this colorway was overlooked for kawa Ora in a similar color family. I went back and forth between the two myself but finally decided not to add a second Kawa Ora shawl even though I really love my pink/mauve one. Second piece of mail I was influenced to get based on all of the dallet scarves last week. I didn’t own any and realized I was missing out. Coincidentally I’m wearing a black sweater dress today but I don’t think I’d really wear it with either scarf.
thank you, Croisette!Congratulations on your 2 wonderful CSGMs, Foxy!
Thank you, fifi!
Many thanks, bunnycat!

First, many thanks for all the sweet comments you gave me for my last SOTD. I'm so sorry I couldn't reply to you! I couldn't catch up with the speed of thread, and the 2020 thread closed.. I only found out today that 'alert alarm' tap existsOh my god.. I was so stupid

This week's theme is perfect for me...my wardrobe is primarily made up of black tops accented with a scarf. Oftentimes the scarf will have some black or at the very least adds a colorful accent to my black outfit. Here are a few pictures of the past couple of days of scarf wearing, including wearing my Sous L'eglide on this snowy day today!

a great colourway for Ndop, Pirula!SOTD is a jewel-toned Ndop on a navy sweater. I can tie this one so that it looks darker my focusing on the navy/brown, but the bright pops of emerald are my favorite.

My only tiny complaint about this scarf is that in this cw, the hem is only a contrasting color on the two sides of the scarf-that are green-on the other it borders a section that's burgundy--and you guys know I love a good contrasting hem!
congratulations, Redbirdhermes!Today's scarf is a grail that I thought would be impossible to find. However, I was checking scarf sites on New Year's morning, and this beauty popped up. In my favorite dark blue colorway. I quickly did my homework and verified the seller and the photos, then asked myself if it was worth the price of three lesser used scarves? Heck, yes! I threw any New Year's resolution on holding the line on scarf purchases out the (Paris rooftop!) window and pulled the trigger. Later I checked the timestamps and this beauty was floating in the bay for only thirteen minutes before I plucked her out.

Love the David by David. How fabulous. So pleased you decided to show it off.I’m less of a fan of black scarves since I own so much black clothing but I do enjoy the occasional “pastel black”. I almost never wear scarves since we went to telework (my colleagues tend to be on the casual side of biz casual despite our in-office attire being biz professional) but decided the students in a class I teach can use a little glamour. Vintage Springs, super soft with age. Also since it’s black appreciation week, showing off my “David by David” (David Bowie by David Amoroso)and looking at this photo...I really need to update my beige walls.

In my case, both. I think of the older “classic” designs (Ed’O, ExLibris, Springs, leProm, Bd’G, etc.) as ‘old school’, and always enjoy an early issue of reissued designsTurfnsurf and @hermesguy, does ‘old school’ refer to older Hermès designs? Or of a certain age or vintage?
