Today's scarf is a grail that I thought would be impossible to find. However, I was checking scarf sites on New Year's morning, and this beauty popped up. In my favorite dark blue colorway. I quickly did my homework and verified the seller and the photos, then asked myself if it was worth the price of three lesser used scarves? Heck, yes! I threw any New Year's resolution on holding the line on scarf purchases out the (Paris rooftop!) window and pulled the trigger. Later I checked the timestamps and this beauty was floating in the bay for only thirteen minutes before I plucked her out.

Introducing my Les Toits de Paris in dark blue for my SOTD.

Lucky you, rbh. I have been on the hunt for one of these off and on for the last six months+. Congrats.

I agree with @Pirula and others...so difficult to keep up with this thread...the "likes" are quite helpful. Truly so much fun to see everyone's posts and pictures though, so appreciated even if I can't comment as often as I'd like to!!

This week's theme is perfect for me...my wardrobe is primarily made up of black tops accented with a scarf. Oftentimes the scarf will have some black or at the very least adds a colorful accent to my black outfit. Here are a few pictures of the past couple of days of scarf wearing, including wearing my Sous L'eglide on this snowy day today!

Excited to be twins on both of these with you! I love how you have styled MZ. I have a similar sweater and need to try it out as it makes a wonderful contrast.
So beautiful ladies (and gent!). I simply can’t keep up, thank heavens for the like button.

okay here’s my SOTD. Black sweater and there is black in my Les Ailes de Soie, though less than I thought since the contrast hem is actually that delicious Hermés navy blue.

One of my favorite Honore' designs. Yours is a beautiful colorway.

Thank

Yoon, you tie your scarves so beautifully, and so do all of you. :hugs: I especially love that last knot and must try it. Your scarves are delightfully paired, too!!
My dear Scarfies, you are ALL so inspiring!! :girlsigh:

Oh dear Karenska, you're so sweet! You made my day  Your gorgeous mod shots inspired me a lot, too! Glad you like my last knot, it's easy and neat ways to tie a scarf, I think  I guess it will look beautiful on you :hbeat:

Hi scarfies, long time no see!

First, many thanks for all the sweet comments you gave me for my last SOTD. I'm so sorry I couldn't reply to you! I couldn't catch up with the speed of thread, and the 2020 thread closed.. I only found out today that 'alert alarm' tap exists :shocked: Oh my god.. I was so stupid

I'll go back to the topic, my SOTD is Animapolis.
I wore it on my black pullover

My most grayish colored scarf is Boucles et Galon de Tsar

I realized that I don't have many dark scarves. So it's okay to buy a few more, right?

Hope you have a sunshiny days!!

BWAHAHAHA - you are asking the wrong crew, we'd all say "Of course it is!!"

I love your Animapolis - it reads like a lovely neutral with a little pop of orange. You're a master at the knotting skillz too - I hope to learn from you!

Both are so beautiful!
SOTD is a jewel-toned Ndop on a navy sweater. I can tie this one so that it looks darker my focusing on the navy/brown, but the bright pops of emerald are my favorite.

My only tiny complaint about this scarf is that in this cw, the hem is only a contrasting color on the two sides of the scarf-that are green-on the other it borders a section that's burgundy--and you guys know I love a good contrasting hem!
I love that green too!

Oh my heavens - congratulations!
Your new Exposition Universalle is so colorful! It will definitely brighten up this weary day.
Twins on Jungle Love. The black/gray is such a versatile colorway. I find that it can be dressed up with an elegant outfit and also knotted casually for a dressed down look with jeans.

Adorable pup!!

Thank you Croisette!
Thank you! I agree, JLR in this cw is both elegant and casual, and it's very versatile as well!

Gorgeous!

Thank you!
