Happy holidays everyone!
I have 3 scarves that I basically rotate through during December.
neige d’antan, Noel au Faubourg, and a green and red au coeur de la vieView attachment 5277316View attachment 5277317View attachment 5277319 View attachment 5277320View attachment 5277321

Gorgeous scarf1! Love that ACdelaV!
Great post, bunnycat. And I love how you tied your MdZ. Perfect with the black shirt.

Thank you kindly Karenska!

so very lovely indeed. I have non H for Easter and Valentine’s Day that I love wearing

yes yes yes. Way to start the week. The fleurs d’hiver is such a great understated design.

It just so festive and as someone said sugar plum fairy

the red matches perfectly. it is such a great trompe l’oeil effect.

haha at grinch. Love the black Zambeze look. The colors pop.

Oh my!! Best holiday collection and stylings. Love it so much. That holly highlight especially

Thank you Nomad!

Wow it is fantastic in red (and any other cw really because of the trompe l'oeil effect): a perfect holiday scarf!

Thank you! at Sugar Plum Fairy...

Thank you so much @Cooshcouture!

You are the very un-Grinchiest Grinch I have ever seen @bunnycat-- looking beautiful in your greens!

This is similar to my holiday scarf strategy @scarf1 but I only wish I had a Noel and a Neige! :girlsigh: Especially yearn for that last one because I adore the title and the Francois Villon poem that it comes from. And living in NOLA I do actually have to wonder "where are the snows of yesteryear" because we don't get any! All three are gorgeous...

Thank you @Nomad! Maybe I will make it my Nutcracker scarf, too!

Thank you! @Yoon daily scarf is so talented and her instructions are so clear!

 On the inside bah humbug....yes..... :roflmfao:

Yes… I agree that the Fleurs d’Hiver makes a beautiful Hanukkah scarf. One of our best friends and best man at our wedding and family are Jewish and celebrate the holidays grandly, always inviting us… I always enjoy wearing color appropriately accessories.
I love the way that Yoon devised this knot. My version is not as good and I told her I must attempt her way next time. What a joy Patisserie is… So beautifully festive!

Such a delightful design! I’ve been wanting one for a while now as it’s a lovely holiday design, especially in this fabulous red.. One of Hermès’ best trompe l’oeil designs

Oh do glad to be your Neige twin! It is such a delightful design and probably my Christmas favorite as well

No holiday themed scarves?! Well, this week will prove that festive colors will bump any design to being holiday appropriate. Love that striking Zambeze, and what design is the moussie? It is glorious!

Aaah, all of these a wonderful for the season! My favorite being Neige d’Antan with which I am happy to twin with you!

I'll do my best fifi! The mousse is Parures de Sables.

Just wanted to follow up with a Christmas concert update. It was marvelous! Seraphic Fire usually holds their concerts in churches but this one was at a concert hall. It was equally beautiful and atmospheric. As they were singing Silent Night at the end, each singer picked up a red candle from the center table and left slowly in procession singing to end the song backstage.
So moving that I shed a tear.

The sweet and spunky usher ladies gushed over my scarf and Vrba brooch. So nice when our silks get noticed in the real world

Stunning! So glad you got to go to your Xmas concert. This year, poor MrBcat still said no to performing again. Maybe next year....

I was wondering if I was the only one without holiday themed silks so thank you for sharing you don't either right now:smile:

You are not alone! :flowers: Five or 6 years now (??? scarf sister @xincinsin will have to double check me on this ???) as a scarf mistress....and still no winter themes or holiday scarves.... and not a thing with sports either....Now it's like a marathon...how long can I go without one?

How about a scarf the includes a spirit that sings on your rooftop?
I’m really reaching here because… Scarf Mail!! :panic: And not just any ole scarf (not that anyone would ever call an H scarf ordinary), but super duper, zomg, shouting from the rooftops, and jumping up and down - but not on the rooftop ‘cause that would be silly - and yes yes yes!! I found* a pink KACHINAS!!!

where was I… oh the Morning Singer Kachina (from my first Kachinas)

And now - after much blathering from me - my pink Kachinas!! Woot!!

* many heartfelt thanks to @Living.la.vida.fifi ❤❤❤
@Cookiefiend That pink Kachinas looks absolutely glorious on you. I see you wore your trademark white shirt which is perfect b/c it allows the eye to go right to the Kachinas with no interference.

I never studied what the various kachinas meant, you are a perfect example for us all in providing these insights. :flowers: :flowers: :flowers:

I missed most of last week, except for commenting a few times... :crybaby: I have no idea where the time went on me, but go it did....

So, I'm calling this one a crossover from last week since it has some green on it. But also, most Armore Artist scarf designs tend to be based on their ceramic art they sell, so it would have been great for last week too.

Marche du Zambeze

And, of course, it would not be Xmas-time without my black black heart embracing the Grinch for at least a day.

"You're a foul one, Mr Grinch.... You're a nasty-wasty skunk!" (plus... green...but a sickly mean green... )

PS- I still have no holiday themed or winter themed scarves, after 8 years....
What a lovely luscious knot, Bunny-Grinch! I love that green combo!

No wonder the usher ladies loved your brooch and your scarf. Your outfit is spectacular!

I live vicariously through the holiday scarves of others
May we have many more fine years of scarf appreciation and scarf sisterhood ahead of us!

I wore this new-to-me Clic Clac dip-dye to do some shopping and holiday errands last Friday and my DH asked if I had wandered out of a J Crew catalogue and needed directions back! Despite his snarkiness, I am reprising the OOTD for our theme and even plan to double down later with plaid pants and a green sweater. Tis the season, after all! I am very happy to have a "red" Holiday scarf!

May I see your scarf ring you used for this knot?
Here you go @Cooshcouture! You can find a "Chain d'Ancre" scarf ring on H.com or Etsy. The Hermes version is lovely but quite heavy. I have had good luck with an online company called St. Germaine for lightweight scarf rings and also It's All Goode.

:ty: and I would love to see your version of the knot! All y'all Neige d'Antan sisters are making me "green" with envy :winkiss:

Oh my gosh-- what a stunning ensemble @Living.la.vida.fifi! You look amazing. Just dazzling.
How pretty and perfect for a cookie exchange.
Thank you @Maedi! It is definitely my "sweetest" scarf!
I was wondering if I was the only one without holiday themed silks so thank you for sharing you don't either right now:smile:
Time to start shopping @Barbette! I keep a box with holiday themed colored sweaters, shoes, earrings and (to date) exactly two scarfs in it but here in NOLA we love playing dress up...I think of it as my holiday "capsule"
When I pulled out my SOTD this morning I realized that I have more red/ green scarves than I thought.
So, here is my not-SOTD Instruction du Roi in a bold red with gold, orange and an even bolder green Which I put on for the picture.
And my actual SOTD: Les Tambours. Red, white, gold and a teeny tiny bit of green. My cardigan is dark green, btw.

I love them both @SusieAugusta-- I think it is nice to have both bright red and the white/red among your silk holiday options. I too have a problem with my pine green sweater coming out as almost black in photos. I need some pro tips to catch the color of the top without washing out both scarf and wearer!
Four months ago, a baby panda was born in the Singapore Zoo. So today, I'm wearing a rose red panda tie because this is the little tyke's first Christmas!

Fantastically cute tribute @xincinsin and such a fun way to tie a tie!
So yesterday I wore my red and green (and khaki) Gloire de Guillaume CSGM, very casually tied. It’s kind of Christmassy.View attachment 5277847
This looks wonderful! I love this cw of Gloire and your lipstick is perfect (as always) @momasaurus. I think you look ready to sing some medieval carols...

@Maedi, @HoneyLocks and @Karenska these are marvelous posts-- both your silks and the background information and photos! Thank you so much.

This happened to me @Cooshcouture, during the pandemic. I called Customer Service and they made a note on my return so I had no problem. Good luck and let us know!

Utterly perfect and charming in every possible way. I love how you tied it with the two points @Croisette7!

A lovely design @SusieAugusta sta and thanks for taking the lead on theme-stretching right off the bat!

 Thank you so much @Agrume (Zaba twin!)

Perfect seasonal accessories @Karenska!
Thank you so much, LKBNOLA!

Thank you dear @Living.la.vida.fifi for your beautiful closing post to last week's theme and this fantastic and festive post to open the new week! I love each of your examples-- they seem enduring, classic and joyful and I am glad of the expansion of the theme by the example of your beautiful blue Fleurs d'Hiver. Blue and silver are certainly festive and seasonal and for me they are also classic Hanukkah colors (though it has passed early this year). I feel these are all light-filled traditions in the dark mid-winter so I can't wait to see the cheer and fun this week.
Since I acquired this festive La Patisserie Francaise, I have my own little holiday tradition of wearing it to a Cookie Exchange. Finally doing that again this year IRL! Not technically red or green but full of sugary sweetness and whimsey. Plus, my top is very very green ;) (Knot is the "Zebra Bow Knot" by @Yoon daily scarf)

This is so pretty and festive on you!

Thank you for hosting last week and this, @Living.la.vida.fifi . It was easy to find a crossover scarf for today that encompassed both art and was red. When I first saw a picture of Au Coin du Feu I thought that Hermès had actually issued a knit scarf. Even on opening the box I had to touch it to be sure that it was a picture of a knitted scarf on flat silk. Knitwear is of course an art form. I picture the scarf here with an actual knitted headband that I wear in the winter.

Pleased to begin this week of Christmas with Au Coin du Feu with its reindeer pulling a present in a sleigh. With any luck I'll be able to post a scarf on site photo later after a visit to our cabin which has a fireplace.

Just perfect for Christmas ... and the lovely knitted headband!
