Great post, bunnycat. And I love how you tied your MdZ. Perfect with the black shirt.I missed most of last week, except for commenting a few times...I have no idea where the time went on me, but go it did....
So, I'm calling this one a crossover from last week since it has some green on it.But also, most Armore Artist scarf designs tend to be based on their ceramic art they sell, so it would have been great for last week too.

19 Dec 2021 Holly & Ivy: Festive Red and Green scarves
Happy Fourth Sunday of Advent, dear Scarfies!
As I will be attending my favorite Christmas concert this evening, I can’t help but to share the lyrics of an ancient tune that the marvelous ensemble Seraphic Fire will present tonight: The Holly and the Ivy:
“The holly and the ivy,
When they are both full grown,
Of all trees that are in the wood,
The holly bears the crown”
I couldn’t find a YouTube video of Seraphic Fire singing this beautiful Christmas song, but did find one of them singing the Coventry Carol which we will also hear tonight:
Here are a couple of photos of the last Seraphic Fire Christmas concert I attended in 2019 which includes a picture of the program. After last year’s hiatus, it will be a treat to attend tonight.

As we welcome the Christmas festivities with great joy and anticipation, we will undoubtedly wear our holiday-themed scarves to all of our events. There are so many wonderful and iconic winter and Christmas-themed silks by Hermès that we have a wealth of designs to choose from.
But, no doubt, we also have green and red scarves that we love to wear at this time of year for they are festive and have that holiday vibe, whether they are holiday-themed or not.
One of these scarves for me is Fleurs d’Ecosse in this red and green CW. The tartan patterns also add a festive vibe. Though not exactly a Christmas scarf it will be perfect to wear to tonight’s Christmas concert.

Then, here is one of my favorite winter/holiday-themed scarves of all time: the charming Neige d’Antan with its delightful revelers in the snow and snowflakes and holly graphics.

Finally, I would like to stretch the topic a bit to allow us to display those holiday and winter-themed scarves in our collections that we may own in a non-traditional CW. One such winter-themed scarf I own is the fabulous Fleurs d’Hiver. With its snowflakes, reindeer, edelweiss and woodland creatures in icy colors, it is a delight to wear at this time of year.

This will undoubtedly be an exciting and fun week as we all share our beloved holiday and winter-themed silks
It just so festive and as someone said sugar plum fairyThank you dear @Living.la.vida.fifi for your beautiful closing post to last week's theme and this fantastic and festive post to open the new week! I love each of your examples-- they seem enduring, classic and joyful and I am glad of the expansion of the theme by the example of your beautiful blue Fleurs d'Hiver. Blue and silver are certainly festive and seasonal and for me they are also classic Hanukkah colors (though it has passed early this year). I feel these are all light-filled traditions in the dark mid-winter so I can't wait to see the cheer and fun this week.
Since I acquired this festive La Patisserie Francaise, I have my own little holiday tradition of wearing it to a Cookie Exchange. Finally doing that again this year IRL! Not technically red or green but full of sugary sweetness and whimsey. Plus, my top is very very green(Knot is the "Zebra Bow Knot" by @Yoon daily scarf)

the red matches perfectly. it is such a great trompe l’oeil effect.Thank you for hosting last week and this, @Living.la.vida.fifi . It was easy to find a crossover scarf for today that encompassed both art and was red. When I first saw a picture of Au Coin du Feu I thought that Hermès had actually issued a knit scarf. Even on opening the box I had to touch it to be sure that it was a picture of a knitted scarf on flat silk. Knitwear is of course an art form. I picture the scarf here with an actual knitted headband that I wear in the winter.

Pleased to begin this week of Christmas with Au Coin du Feu with its reindeer pulling a present in a sleigh. With any luck I'll be able to post a scarf on site photo later after a visit to our cabin which has a fireplace.

This is similar to my holiday scarf strategy @scarf1 but I only wish I had a Noel and a Neige!Especially yearn for that last one because I adore the title and the Francois Villon poem that it comes from. And living in NOLA I do actually have to wonder "where are the snows of yesteryear" because we don't get any! All three are gorgeous...
Thank you @Nomad! Maybe I will make it my Nutcracker scarf, too!

Yes… I agree that the Fleurs d’Hiver makes a beautiful Hanukkah scarf. Such a delightful design! I’ve been wanting one for a while now as it’s a lovely holiday design, especially in this fabulous red.. Oh do glad to be your Neige twin! It is such a delightful design and probably my Christmas favorite as wellThank you kindly, dear Fifi!
Awww, what a great and very fitting intro, dear Fifi! Thank you for taking the time to host another week, and the one before Christmas to boot.
Your scarves are (as usual) so wonderful, all different, and all on theme. I am your twin on Neige d‘Antan, my favourite Christmas scarf, always worn on Christmas Eve.
Thank you for the kind words, dear LKBNOLA!
A very very nice green top with a very very lovely scarf, dear LKBNOLA!
One of my favourite designs, RBH! I am your sister, I‘ve got the light blue/ light grey one. How very nice to see the red cw!![]()
No holiday themed scarves?! Well, this week will prove that festive colors will bump any design to being holiday appropriate. Love that striking Zambeze, and what design is the moussie? Now that‘s a Christmas tree pin!Just wanted to follow up with a Christmas concert update. It was marvelous! Seraphic Fire usually holds their concerts in churches but this one was at a concert hall. It was equally beautiful and atmospheric. As they were singing Silent Night at the end, each singer picked up a red candle from the center table and left slowly in procession singing to end the song backstage.
So moving that I shed a tear.
The sweet and spunky usher ladies gushed over my scarf and Vrba brooch. So nice when our silks get noticed in the real world
