love paperoles! Great tie like moma said.
OOoh, I am going to wear Paperolles today and I wish I could tie it like this!
Can’t wait to see your cw!

I would love a paperoles but can’t nail down a cw. Wanted to share this interesting find I found this week at a small German Christmas market in Quebec. One of the Christmas decorations was a metal take on paper rolling art! Don’t know the technical name.
All I could think of while staring at it was the paperoles scarf lol. If you zoom you can really see the “paper” curls all over, Tough to photograph.

The Robe du soir GM is sooo pretty. It ties beautifully.

Oh my bunnycat, is your Robe a moussie?

Thank y'all @Maedi and @Croisette7 ! And..... (shhhhh!)... it's a cotton pareo! :woot:

That hem is WOOOOOWWWW!

No SOTD today - it is pouring, and I‘m not taking anything silky out.

But here are a few pics that meet the week‘s theme.

The very elaborate hat-cum-ship the lady wears in Musée:

Beautiful examples for the week! I forgot about the tassels on Les Cles, but now am going right over to the scarf drawer to get mine out!

As for me I would call today: the knot I am trying to tie . I spent two days to get this face.

Even I bought a second scarf ( dark green grey) as I was crashed on the knot version, having seen both here and on IG

Gorgeous!!!
The bouquet in Regina is tied with a ribbon.

A scarf on site, thank you, Croisette, for sharing your lovely photographs!

My new-to-me Napoleon has plenty of decorative elements, ranging from laurel wreaths and ribbons to stylized feathers and uniform fringe.

It took me a long time to select a colorway of this popular design, but I’m happy with my choice.

Scarf of the day is Napoleon.

The bees are adorable!

First of all: Thank you so much, @xincinsin for hosting the last two weeks and this one as well….three weeks in a row, wow!

So many lovely scarves shown so far, I did my best to like them - sooo much eye candy!

I can offer yesterday‘s SOTD: Plenty of ribbons on Rubans de Cheval.

And today as SOTD I can present my new to me Tambours - lots of decorative elements on that one, too!

oh yes, and red borders on both!

Tassels and ribbons on Folklore, and bonus fringe!

great on black, Cookie!!

I don’t believe there are any ribbons on Duo Cosmique so I’m off theme but it’s pretty! View attachment 5262664
Yes, it is!

As @Croisette7 showed us earlier- this wouldn't be a ribbon week without the decorative braiding of Robe du Soir!

And yesterday, Annapolis with the ribbons and bows on the dancers (plus kittehs... )

This hat is a great find!

coming out of hiding…
Yesterday at the Gardiner Museum exihibit on Venice. The Gardiner is a gem of a museum specializing in the ceramic arts.
Wore Sous l’Egide de Mars which is sort of on theme with its decorative details
Since there have been some discussion of lace, I’ve included some pictures from the exhibit of Venetian lace, which had a stylistic impact on ceramic designs. The scalloped edges of the bowl was influenced by lace and here is a beautiful plate.
