Wonderful photos! I am also happy to hear how your collections are formed and culled, nothing like understanding how a curated scarf collection is done from many collectors points of view:flowers:

On to my next multiple. I do love this design and when it came out I was all a:panic:flutter:panic:Sadly I missed Dans un Jardin Anglais as I was busy on the hunt for this. Tapis Persan, wonderful elements of Persian carpets and drawings. I have a couple of framed book pages that remind me of this design every time I see them. Many apologies for my poor staging skills, I forgot to take the tea cloth off that I store them in:blush:View attachment 5227072
What a lovely spread...
it’s interesting to see the side-by-side relationship of each within the color story. They appear as one happy family

One Appaloosa, two appaloosas... I went from none to two but only one will stay. The scarf is so fun and dramatic to wear and I wrestle with which to keep. I do love Alice Shirley but she is already extremely well represented in my collex and I don't feel enough Appaloosa love to double up...

Perhaps the way you've tied it, but if pushed to chose I’d say the first would be the keeper, although both really suit you and you would get wear out of either!

They’re both fabulous!
Thank you, Snausages!

I’ve had several colorways of Texas Wildlife but to keep the scarf drawer from becoming a scarf house I’ve culled down to only two.
When @turfnsurf posted different knots to highlight different parts of scarves, I played around to highlight a corner.
View attachment 5226696
And I was chuckling because a friend taught me I can wear scarves as subliminal messages. So this corner is for when I am spending time with those I wish to turn my behind to. I particularly like the sneer on the ram’s face as it makes aggressive eye contact

Luminous idea, to wear the scarf like this!

Congrats, Agrume ... what a lucky find ... and the matching bracelet!
Thank you, Croisette!

The green in the scarf and the bracelet gives such a fresh look!

Fantastic!
I used to use a free app called GlamOutfit & one OS update it was no longer supported for iPhone; I was distraught! I had spent SO MUCH time photographing/ uploading/ removing backgrounds & inputting details (price, size, category, etc.) of my sizable wardrobe -including scarves- and had lost it all. I’m finally to a place to begin again & was thinking about StyleBook just the other day...your post will be so helpful!

Here’s my SOTD, Presentation, to be on topic:View attachment 5226694
Thank you :flowers:
As you’re the Queen of color ways :queen: I’m happy to share a ‘new’ one.

There are so many great cw’s of this, but I ‘had to have’ one with dun-colored center horses. Green & tan is such a classic equestrian combo that when I spied this it was kismet.
Here it is flat...

What a great colourway indeed!

Yesterday’s double was Amazone - my best example of H Math :giggle:

Two of the same... stunning effect, Cookie!

What a fabulous pattern pairing - FANTASTIC!
Thank you, Cookie!

Amazing! Love them both! No ccp needed for these two beauties.

@Agrume and @LKBNOLA I am right there with you! I feel I am nearing the end of collecting minus a handful of grails at this point. I am NOW able to finally say ’no’ to scarves on the market, a lot of ‘no’s’. I am actually impressed with myself haha. I say “grail or no” to myself:blush:. I am in the ‘nola ccp process’ combined with the ‘ @blydia ruthless culling’ at this point in my collection. I have a dozen plus on the chopping block!! I will harness the power from fellow tpf’ers To cull while struggling with the beautiful modeling shots of scarves lol
Thank you, Nomad! I am also getting (a little bit) better at saying no...

Both are beautiful, LKBNOLA! I would find it difficult to decide (and I am just starting to appreciate this design).

Today I’m wearing Couvertures et Tenues du Jour by Jacques Eudel in the giant silk format.

I also bought two twillies in this design, one for myself and one for my daughter.

I try not to buy different colors of the same scarf. Instead, I painstakingly pick the color that (in my opinion) best showcases the design, and best compliments my complexion. If a scarf doesn’t meet both criteria, I usually sacrifice the latter in favor of the former. For example, this scarf also came in a gorgeous soft pink colorway that was perfect for me, however, all the horses and their attire were in shades of pink. The lack of contrast and color variety in a design that’s all about the colorful outfits of the horses made me gravitate towards this purple one which truly brings out the different outfits, although the color is a bit too strong for me. I keep saying in the future I will choose whatever looks best on me, but I keep choosing what is best for the design.

What draws me to a scarf is always the design. I am in love with the older designs. My scarf collection is made up almost entirely of reissues of older designs that came out in the last 8-9 years. At the beginning of each season, I examine the reissued scarves, and if they are aesthetically pleasing to me, and if the story behind them is interesting, then I determine the color I am going to buy. In the past I have fallen for a scarf while browsing in the store, bought it and brought it home, only to return it the next day after reading about a sad element in its story.

I’m attracted to every one of Henri d’Origny’s designs, and in general, to scarves by French designers. I feel like the French are simply masterful in their story-telling through artistry. As regards themes, I would say the themes I love are the ones that have in common that old-world Hermes charm.

I really enjoy reading all of your stories, and wish I had more time to write comments. It would be so practical if there was a comment box for each post directly under the like button. The current system requires a lot of going back and forth, and one simply gives up when things are busy. A more user-friendly update would encourage greater participation.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Kelly Star! You illustrate it with a beautiful example.

Wow - that blue! Perhaps the scarf (and cw) that is highest up on my wishlist! It is such a stunning piece!
Thank you, Naessi!

Some of my multiples. I couldn't add more photos in this post, so I will add them in another one (and also have to photograph some that I didn't have archive photos of).

Wonderful to see them together!

My latest multiple: Duo Cosmique. TBH, I wasn't planning on buying this design as I wasn't inspired by the early stock images. Then I saw the mod shots and decided to ask my dear SA to hold a couple of cws for me to see IRL. I ended up buying both as the vibe was completely different.

they are so different and both great scarves! I put on mine, too, today, as I have 2 versions as well. Will try to post a photo later.

Your collection is exquisite, Naessi! Is the white Pavois a 70cm scarf? It’s so charming They all are, they look amazing on you.

Loved your post. I am the same about being a ruthless rehomer. If there is a color in the scarf that bothers me, I just won't wear it. Some have been grails, and when I get them, I discover the hiding yuck color. Sometimes, all the pics that are posted posted minimize the problem spots through creative tying. Sometimes the yuck color doesn't look yucky when you see flat pics. Then there is the it looks fine on the counter, but looks yuck on me. @momasaurus said "you don't really know how something is going to work until you live with it." Truer words were never spoken. But just because you lived with it, doesn't mean it is a life time commitment. Here is to setting them free to find their rightful owner.
Ruthless rehoming is necessary, I think, to keep things manageable. I have even let go of scarves that I enjoyed wearing, but just felt our time together was over.

I agree about the more user-friendly update, but I was here when there was no "like" button at all. Everyone had to comment on everything, and the "I love this" and "thank you" and "you're welcome" posts clogged everything up even more than now, LOL!

Great to read your logic. Old World Charm is my personal hashtag.

I've had relatives in town and while I leapt last week to the like/love button and replied in my head, a belated 'ooh lala' on everyone's pix. I'm twinning with several and want to be twinning with several more! Thank you all as always for the eye candy
Had to click “Wow”, Snausages, because you are a multi-quote genius!

Hello everyone :nuts:I missed all of you here:heart:.
I like to share my newest scarf that just came home with me today.

I did try it on in store but forgot to take pictures:biggrin:
