Scarves Scarf of the Day 2021 - Which Hermès scarf are you wearing today?

SOTD - another Pawnee, this one from the grand opening of the Seattle boutique. Braiding a 90 was a bit challenging - did it while wearing it because I feared pulling it over my head would result in makeup smears. (Lipstick is always applied after the scarf comes on.)

I thought for sure the SE would be Tsitsika but no. I re-homes one years ago and now regret it. Also regret re-homing a blue TW (the steel blue that Croisette posted yesterday). A felt valet tray was the party favor.

Here are some photos of the magnificent spires taken from the South Rim, as well as the airport sign. You can see the Colorado River in the first shot.



Hermes bandana Les Canyons Etioles, from the Canyons to the Stars, features a different view of the Grand Canyon along each side of the bandana. I had to laugh when I went back and looked at my Grand Canyon photos, because I was wearing my favorite pink Piper airplane t-shirt. My Grand Canyon bandana is also this same bright pink. It makes me smile.

Here is the caretag for Carrick Bend. I adore the soft drape of this cotton/silk blend. And, I agree that the scarf pattern design and size is most agreeable. Here is my scarf worn out and about today, just quickly draped around my neck, along with my rumpled linen jacket and linen pants. The scarf is definitely the best part of my outfit!

I’ve been sooo good recently, enjoying everyone else’s scarves but have just received four scarves in two days - two from H.com and two new to me from the Bay.

I was worried this new to me Decoupages might be too close to my red Doigts de Fee but it’s pretty different IRL and will make a great Christmas scarf.

Donned my new Luciano Hat and Pani scarf. When a hat is too large on me I will wrap my cotton scarf or bandana and it fits just right!

KO’s painterly technique is so amazing to view up close in a scarf. I miss this level of quality in H recent issues. Look at the dimensionality and the many screens it must to to reproduce his paintings. I also love the way the orange background showcases silvery outlines of riders and their ponies.
