I’ve been in lurk-mode this week due to time constraints, but have Liked, Loved & Wow’d at everyone’s offerings. :girlsigh:

 I love you, for sentimental reasons
hope you do believe me
I've given you my heart
...
-I Love You (Nat King Cole)

I’ve wracked my brain & hated to ‘play favorites’, but here are my top 12- mostly gifts from family & some that just remind me of loved ones... wearing these scarves are like having a silky hug: :hbeat:

Coup de Filet - Rose de Sable

Palefroi - La Cle des Champs

Les Bles - Cadre Noir

Pampa - Diane

Per Astra Ad Astra - Recontre Oceane

Les Poulains - Les Poneys de Polo

My bakers dozen #13 has to be L’Arriere Main

What beautiful thoughts and scarves. The Nat King Cole song quote is perfect. I love them all! Horses, animals, nature dominate your Chosen 13!

Fave scarf #12 is a representative of a weakness I have. When in doubt about which cw to select for any design, I gravitate to blue+red. I have a rather large number of blue+red scarves, and they go with most of my office wear since the dress code in my company is very casual. The rep for this cw is Corinthe because it took me a long time to find this design, including one missing in the post incident.
View attachment 5115460
I started my selection of 13 with a Mythiques Phoenix in yellow and purple and will end with a phoenix too. The yellow+purple cw was the last 90cm MP I bought from the resale market because I thought the colours would clash horribly. I was wrong and it has since become a go-to scarf for me.
#13 is of course the anthracite cw, my travel stalwart, as well as a very educational scarf colourwise for me. I had put it in the category of black/white till I actually got my hands on one and saw for myself the subtle range of the not-black/not-white palette.
View attachment 5115459
For comparison, here are the 70cm and the pareo which are mainly black/white/grey. Not the same :amuse:

View attachment 5115475
The anthracite MP is truly a scarf worthy of its grail status - such a subtle beauty.
For Xincinsin, Kyoto Marble MT in the afternoon light outdoors.
View attachment 5115506
It is very beautiful, and I am very lucky.
(I may have said to my lovely SA that I was prepared to crawl over broken glass for it. And...err...I also got the horsey one that came out at the same time (but missed out on the original Balade). They had the Constance in this silk as a display only item in the window at my store recently...I took a long, loving look at it.)
:faint:
Also :giggle: the things we do for these scarves!

This is stunning. :faint:

My final selection:

10. One that represents Great Adventure.
La Femme aux Semelles de Vent. (And also one of my favourite 13 artists.)

11. One that represents Great Artistry in silk.
Kyoto Marble Maxi Twilly.
View attachment 5115424

12. One that has been with me Everywhere, so may as well come to the Desert Island as well.
Aux Portes du Palais.
View attachment 5115426

13. And lastly, one to represent the colour of my favourite Maison.
Urashima Taro.

View attachment 5115509One of my most used 90’s. I guess because of the black and highlight red color going with so much. Regarde Paris.

Flowers category has a tie. ( tho I could have a tie for each season of flower scarves lol) My most used summer scarf and most used flower scarf. Put it on whenever I wear white and it’s not too hot for a scarf. Giverny

My most OMG it’s too beautiful to wear even. L’ombre des pivoines
View attachment 5115514
My fav gavroche. La Danse. I paid over retail I loved it so. Reminds me so much of museum sculptures and paintings of Degas.

I just picked up my new Maxi-Twilly Slim today! It’s the Grand Prix du Fauberg pattern in the Vieux Rose/Bordeaux colorway. It’ll go with both my pink Toolbox 20 as a strap and will also pair well with my Casa Sac (you can see it here next to my bracelet that matches the Casa Sac, which I won’t use it as a strap with lol).

Congratulations, Duggi, it’s very beautiful and works perfectly with both bags, esp. the Casa Sac, which I assume is the burgundy bag? That is a really elegant and calm cw. I love it.

Thank you Karenska. How wonderful to have seen the company perform Giselle. The special edition has a saturated hot pink background.

orchard, I love your pink La Danse!

Some of you asked for pictures of the Marseille edition of Le voyage de Pytheas. It was released to commemorate Marseille as European capital of culture in 2013. Will model it sometime in the next few weeks.

Congrats on your special edition, Agrume!

Thank you, depending on how it’s tied it is either very green or more gray!

Love This green version!

it is gorgeous, Orchard!

a beauty, QueenieQ, and an enchanted garden!
Thanks Agrume, I would like to add a couple of neutrals in the future, but, for now I am happy wearing the bakers dozen. Of course I own other scarves from Christian Dior, Chanel, Christian Lacroix and Camilla (an Australian Designer). I am loving the inspiration on this thread, and above all, appreciate the welcoming spirit of the members here.

Bow
It’s such a great design, especially for those of us that like to travel. Look at how beautifully it ties

These are all so fabulous. I will have to admit that I was happy with my ELEK collection but when I saw a previous post of you wearing that striking colorful 90 I immediately went on a vigorous hunt to locate one. I’m happy to say that she has arrived and is an absolute beauty. I’ve also always admired your amazing Kachinas collection and would love to one day add the 90 turquoise. I love the green corners.
OH how wonderful! You must share mod shots with us when you have a chance!
