Thanks so much... Yes, that one was specifically purchased for my son’s graduation and holds a special place in my collection. And, the other CW I got for Easter. And, the pic wearing the blue/white vintage one was taken when I was not wholly convinced about the design and was about to return it to DM

Popping in quickly — packing for a ski trip!

Two on-topic scarves this week: the original Tropiques (which I wear a lot despite it not being red) and Tropiques Poinçonne (my go-to travel scarf).

It is, isn't it? I fell for the gradations of yellow and orange, they make me feel like I'm wearing a sunset! (Or a tequila sunrise, LOL!)

Thank you Karenska, love my PP, saw 3 cws of PP summer twill today at the H e r m è s S o l d e s in Paris including this one, but walked away with some lovely jaquards instead. Positively surprised how well everything was organized, definitely worth going.

Anyone ready for an Animapolis party? This fabulous design was released as a 90 and a twillon in S/S'19, as a twilly in F/W'19 and now as a Maxi Twilly Slim in S/S'20.

I have the 90 which is framed and hanging in a narrow hallway where it's difficult to photograph it. It gives me so much joy to pass by this exuberant design every time I walk through the house! I also have the twillon. TBH I'm not in love with this format and rarely use it. Might be a candidate for rehoming. As a bonus I'm also throwing in my Animapolis bracelet (It would be cool to see members' accessories that feature scarf designs!)

I wish I had themed bracelets -- all my Hermes ones are leather. This is a lovely collection, but I can see why the twillon is tricky to use. I can only think of them as a belt / hair accessory.

Yesterday’s SOTD Caducee Rock, played with a bit for best tie wear. Such an amazing CS blend in its varying reactions to light in photographs.

And, now, a Brides de Gala fest. The only format I own in this timeless design is in the 90, and the gavs I borrow from my DD. But, although mainly 90s, I am happy to own so many wonderful editions of this classic, which was issued on my birth year. The funny thing is that I didn’t particularly like this design much when I started to seriously collect H scarves and my first original version was a sentimental gift. But, as I came across recent editions of the design, I fell in love with it.

Les parisiennes- different scales.
Original 70 release:

2019 version ex Libris les parisiennes. Again, 70 vintage format. The figures were much smaller. For 2020 this version is being released as a twilly. If I used twillies, it would be on my buy list!

Gorgeous Maharanis! Mine has a similarly special place in my heart, it was the first H scarf that I bought in a boutique, and also was my first impulse selection, to boot. Gotta go with your gut sometimes.
