My very best wishes to everyone for the New Year to all SOTD regulars, occasional posters and newcomers alike  .

The SOTD 2021 thread is now open and ready for business:

The new theme commences tomorrow (3 Jan - whenever your time zone gets there) but there's no reason why you can't post earlier if you want.

圣诞节快乐 Happy Holidays from the tropics! My sis-in-law is coming over on Boxing Day and we are going to have a small get-together (only 5 visitors allowed). Our very untraditional Christmas feast will feature Malay/Indian spiced rice, Thai green curry, Japanese tuna tataki with Turkish cress & sorrel salad, and colourful home-made Chinese pickles!

Wearing Neige d'Antan today.

And here's hoping 2021 will rise Phoenix-like from the calamities of this year.

It is a style of vintage Hermes bag. I collect vintage Hermes bags. My eyes are too bad to read the date stamp, but it is probably from the 1970s. The interior is lambskin. Here is a pic with my hand in next to it so you can see the size.

Lovely! The color is really gorgeous. And such a smart, sophisticated design. It matched your very elegant shoes beautifully.

Beautiful scarves, beautiful sentiment and Yum! on the feast! Enjoy.

First, SOTD, untraditional colors but festive and appropriate IMHO, nonetheless! Axis Mundi with it’s universal themes. Showcasing the hen because, after all, there were three and they were French! :giggle: Nicole Barr Santa Moon pin.

And now for timely scarf mail (drumroll, please...). Sister with @Redbirdhermes and @Croisette7 and many others, I am sure. L’Hiver en Poste! Wikipedia has a juicy article about the Bull and Mouth Coaching Inn, which this scarf beautifully depicts. I love how the horses are so full of life and action.FB712911-7F0B-4B0D-A2E6-B75DBA54EA9B.jpeg1CFA8B20-D090-4BBB-97D8-BBE3C6957970.jpeg

Oh thanks! I never look there because of so many negative comments. Their idea of “real” is apparently quite loose. But maybe I should pop in now and then!
Thanks for the tip. I have only boughts scarves and Behapis, all I’m certain are authentic. But I’ll be warier. One thing I really dislike about that company is how they package their scarves. Wrinkled! Ugh. I get red hot at the thought of just folding them any which way, crumpling them, so to speak. When I received my Omnibus Remix, I actually cried and called them to complain.
