Today, a few silks, NONE of which are specifically winter or holiday-themed, yet are perfect to wear at this time of year...
I shared this beauty last week and show it again this week as it has the Advent colors of purple and pink and it’s so lively, cheerful and festive with all of the decorated beads reminiscent of Christmas ornaments: Dancing Pearls



The minute I saw this CW, I knew it would work for Christmas... Flowers of South Africa giant silk



Bonsai looks Christmasy to me


As does this CW of Panoplie Equestre...



An Instagrammer recently posted her L’Arbre de Vie in a similar CW to mine and mentioned that she always wore it during the Christmas holidays as the leaves on the design reminded her of Christmas tree ornaments... Now, I can’t un-see that... Last Friday I draped it on a bias over my shoulders with one of my Vrba pins, but didn’t take pics as the design didn’t show up too well...Here are pics to show the design better...


This was the Vrba brooch I wore with L’Arbre de Vie... Gotta admit that the pin upstaged the shawl



And, here’s a cute vintage Christmas ornament pin
