Riffing on @xincinsin revelation about date palms on Mythiques Phoenix: Wrapped myself in MP goodness today and picked up a goodie on the way home—the date-filled fruitcake, a fondness for which I am the only person I know to profess, although the matchy-scarf green cherries were a little less tasty than I recall from the ramp up to last holiday season.

W00t! Another great find y'all!

OT today, Mountain Zebra. I let it hang loose so it can be floating freely. I love it that way. Have a good night everyone

Simple gorgeous tlamdang!

I'll look out for it :smartass:

And to get back to topic before Kitty Cop comes by, here is my SOTD. All that talk of ice cream made me hop over to the nearest Baskin Robbins for a photo at 7am this morning  Yep, it's Wednesday and I can get a discount for wearing pink! (Sorry! I'm a week ahead. Just couldn't save this till Pink week  ). I snapped and dashed before security could come and ask me what I was doing :giggle:
Triples has a cafe, a baguette and feeding the pigeons. And three people is surely a social gathering

Les Moustangs bandana (and a tiny horse pendant :P)

Gorgeous ksuromax!

Hi all
SOTD  the ladies having tea have already been shown for this week’s theme

Luuurve! It looks fab!

B-R 7 am? now that’s dedication!
Thinking how quickly this week theme opts to site/experience photos. I’m currently looking for nearby pub...stay tuned!

This special edition scarf was issued for the re-opening of the Venice boutique in 2006.

Venice is known for its traditional food specialities with an abundance of fish dishes.
Rice is a mainstay on Venetian menus and I'm sharing a photo of DH enjoying risotto with a glass of wine.

Tomatoes form the basis of Italian cuisine, and we love Venetian tomato and oregano bruschetta which is quick and easy to prepare.

A trip to Venice wouldn't be complete without a Bellini cocktail, the classic cocktail invented by Guiseppe Cipriani head bartender of Harry's Bar in Venice!

Beautiful pic! (And mmmmmm....Bellini....)

A few of my scarves have live animals that technically could be eaten, but I'm skipping those this week.

La France has many of those (see bonus upside-down stag at my neck), but also "dedberds!" (as I think whenever I scroll past a de Linares scarf) and lots and lots of grapes:

I love the treatment of the grapes on the border this!

Axis Mundi yesterday. With food for people (and goats):

And Bains d'H:

I'm going with Hot Dog Man and The Chef on this one, while eating my own (meat free) quickie breakfast sausage link before going out for a walk....

Your Axis Mundi is such a marvelous color!
Apologies for OT but I just couldn't resist posting this and not sure what's the best thread (mods to move if required). Even DH had a chuckle...:View attachment 4566608
Mais Oui! :giggle:
I love it!

I neeeeeed that bag!
DH will face-palm. He went to a Patek Philippe exhibition last week and was sending me pics of non-watch items they made. I messaged back, "Oh, that's an etui, and that's a chatelaine." :P
