My dear friends, I’ve been MIA for the past three weeks or so as I’ve been on vacation and only had time to update my Instagram account. I regret having missed such wonderful weeks here on SOTD. Unfortunately, I don't think I can go back and catch up, but I will be fully participating again very soon and can’t wait to be enchanted by all the wonderful silks I see here daily. For now, I’d like to post a few of my SOTDs while on vacation.
My first stop upon arrival in Amsterdam was the Hermès airport store. While hopeful to see some of the new season scarves, I was sad to see that none had arrived anywhere that we visited
Here’s a scarf wave of the Kachinas giant triangle in Amsterdam
And, my daughter wearing it sitting by a canal
There was a heat wave in Amsterdam, so the only time scarves came out was that one cooler afternoon when my daughter wore Kachinas and I wore Animapolis
After a few days in Amsterdam, we sailed on a Baltic cruise and I wore Jardins de la a Maharani on embarkation day
Flowers of South Africa in Warnemünde, Germany
Baobab Cat in Helsinki, Finland (echoing the colors of the flag), with the Eastern Orthodox Uspenski Cathedral in the background
