Hola Scarflandia!

It seems like forever since I've been on Scarf Mistress duty but I am back this week! And I'll just go ahead and say this theme has been left WIIIDDEEE open for fun! Put on your interpretations hats to get the most fun and use out of it.

Yes- that's right! You can 1) wear any color you want or 2) try and get as many colors as you can on one scarf if you feel like rooting through your collection and giving yourself a challenge (hello- l'Arbre du Vie fans!) or maybe 3) challenge yourself to wear a different color of the rainbow every day here or ????? Get out your ROYGBIV thinking caps for whatever else you can whip up!

I will admit that I was going to try to start us off for the week with 7 colors in moussie form, but don't QUITE have full rainbow coverage as yet...

(PS- this took me a couple of weeks to get enough pics prepped for the week. )

Happy bright and colorful scarfing this week!

I would like to add my little story connected to Laroche and Le Géographe.
The other day at the vernissage for an art exhibition at our local art salon I met the sister of Sandra Laroche! She is an watercolourist. Her name is Barbara Månsson and she has been living in Sweden all her adult life. For a week once a year she and her sister Sandra meet in Paris from each side of the world, Australia and Sweden.
I got star struck  when she told me about her sister and we talked about Sandra's works for Hermès, where Le Géograph is the scarf they both value the most. Barbara told that she wears hers only at special occasions.
I asked if I could post these pictures in the Scarf thread where Sandra and Le Géograph are presented. She liked the idea!
The lady in red is Barbara. I was volunteering at the exhibition. Barbara's tango dancers on the wall.

One of Barbara's aquarelles.
I imagine the sisters Sandra Laroche (blue) and Barbara Månsson (green) with a friend (red) in a Paris café.

What a wonderful story, Holsby, thank you for sharing it with us! I have yet to meet an H artist, much less a sister!!

I am not a huge red person, but this shade of red is absolutely gorgeous - and it really makes the dragon pop!! I have to decide - dragon or T-Rex!!
That was my dilemma too. The SAs thought I might spring for both, but logic and budget held me back :crybaby:

I’m doing rainbow pants this week starting with blue plus my new tiger

Go for it, blydia!

Love this scarf on you! I still have bruises from kicking myself for letting the bubble gum pink one get away!
