I would like to add my little story connected to Laroche and Le Géographe.
The other day at the vernissage for an art exhibition at our local art salon I met the sister of Sandra Laroche! She is an watercolourist. Her name is Barbara Månsson and she has been living in Sweden all her adult life. For a week once a year she and her sister Sandra meet in Paris from each side of the world, Australia and Sweden.
I got star struck  when she told me about her sister and we talked about Sandra's works for Hermès, where Le Géograph is the scarf they both value the most. Barbara told that she wears hers only at special occasions.
I asked if I could post these pictures in the Scarf thread where Sandra and Le Géograph are presented. She liked the idea!
The lady in red is Barbara. I was volunteering at the exhibition. Barbara's tango dancers on the wall.

I imagine the sisters Sandra Laroche (blue) and Barbara Månsson (green) with a friend (red) in a Paris café.

I adore that painting! The three ladies are so chic!

Saw Kang ought to, right? Weekend dans l'Espace? I like your thinking!
Thank you!
Wondering now, should I hold out for a black cw of Weekend? I think @ABQ2ATL mentioned once that it was the cw most reminiscent of actual "in space".

Oh I do have one more uSA scarf. When I don’t seem to have anything to fit the weekly theme, this scarf usually has something!
lab du temps. Superman, Columbus, native Americans and Even has an astronaut from 1969 walking on the moon. Just for @xincinsin
And the 1982 bubble- is that pong?View attachment 4482546 View attachment 4482547 View attachment 4482549 P View attachment 4482551
Ooh.. thank you! Lab is on my wishlist. Must make greater effort to snare one!
Tour du Monde en 63 Cases has a rocket ship in one of the squares, but no astronaut.

I love your Shackletons!

This scarf design has everything @xincinsin! (By the way, there's also an astronaut in Animapolis.) :amuse:
There is? I'll just go whip out that virtual magnifying glass and scour Animapolis again...
Some scarves are just made for treasure-hunting...

AWESOME! Looks so much better on you than guy model!
Merci! It will be a challenge to get the dragon in view and in front.

I kind of like the blue one for blue skies also...

Ah, love this one too L., but I wonder how you compare it to that other yellow/grey stunner, Samourai. I have an hypothesis that H sometimes repeats color combinations over the years (to be sure, less literally than the new color themes of the last few seasons) and find myself thinking 'now where have I seen that combo before?' (Ebay often serves as a sort of flash card system for me.) Unfortunately, I usually can't remember, LOL! In this case, I've had your EA on my radar since I first saw it ages ago and I think you are twins with @Croisette7. It seems brighter to me than Samourai, the yellow border perhaps? Do you find that you can reach for them reasonably interchangeably?
Hi dear, I will post my reply on the Color thread to avoid OT here!:smartass:

D6582AEB-66DB-4DB3-A056-32EB4318C8FE.jpeg I want to share my first photo, but, oh, dear! I do not know how to do this very well! Here is Legende Kuna Peuple de Panama twilly in fabulously bright colors with a black background, tied as a necklace with the medor pyramid trio, a knot between each (two knots). The pic doesn’t do justice, but it really looked nice at my cousin’s lil girl’s 2nd birthday party. And I ‘confessed’ my H-scarf passion to my one cousin, when she remarked on the necklace. I have been discreetly wearing scarves to events but no one has said anything. So I decided to take the plunge and ‘reveal’ my little secret . I am a scarfie!! She asked me what it was that drew me to them, to which I replied something about their variety and endless beauty.
That’s a seatbelt, BTW. And those medors are weighty.
