What a beauty - I love this CW, but it’s eluded me so far! At least I can enjoy seeing it here :girlsigh:
Thank you!
My pale scarfs of the week:biggrin:
The gag adds the perfect little pop of pink - so pretty!
I think it looks marvelous on you ajaxbreaker!

I agree! The grey and cream/white combo looks so dreamy when it relaxes and gets all drape-y.

Really beautiful Cookie!!! You wear these so well!

Gorgeous Langsam! I do love that glowy lavender they did the other spring!
Thank you sweetie!
Hello scarfies!

It's been a busy couple of weeks and still 2 days to go on this project so I am passing through to say:

:dothewave:

I don't have many pale scarves, because they tend not to look all that great on me (maybe in giant format I could pull it off in silk twill or cashmere), But this week so far I have worn my pretty Panthera pocket square with the pale grey background (and kitty has icy blue eyes)

plus one of my few true pale all over scarves - Karnak in pale cream, pink, lavender and grey blue.

I hope things will be settling down a bit for you!
Love seeing your Karnak - such a lovely cw.
Thank you so much! And, I never visited Hermès when I went to Salzburg, but have a good friend who was just there and took pics at the Hermes store and I noticed that Secessionist-inspired façade...

This is so interesting because I never hesitated in getting the CW with the bright orange sky, yet, as time goes by I kick myself for not going for a more monochromatic CW as I feel that it better captures the spirit of the design, so IMO, you chose well... It is stunning!

Very special and looks awesome on you

Aaaaah, both amazing! You tied them so artfully! And, that jacquard leaves me breathless!

What an incredible CW! Love that beautiful and rich shade! And the contrast hem! Only the genius of Hermes could come up with such a brilliant combo

Oh, how beautifully you’ve paired them! And, you look so stylish, yet cozy as well!

I love when you show your Karnak! It is delicious... And, what a gorgeous and dramatic way to show the panther’s head up front like that!
Thank you so much - the jacquard is very special.

Lovely! Your Ex Libris is such a classic, I love seeing it!
It’s incredible on you, @Cookiefiend , congratulations! And I just love the way you knotted it to show off the border.
Thank you so much - what a sweet thing to say!

With rosé Plaisirs du froid today

Icy! Have never seen this cw before, looks so modern.

Thank you  Someone did say today that it was a nice scarf. And said "Hermes?" Very rare occurrence in this office, even though we have people here who cover the luxury beat.
I think I'll try wearing it with something darker later this week. A bit of contrast should do me good :P

No one ever recognizes my scarves, either. It only happened once, but the person was wearing an Hermes tie...

Loving looking at everyone’s cool beauties—been lax on the P&P (photo & post) lately, but feeling a need for a narcissistic boost, catching up.
Saturday was “Wreaths Across America” day when D.A.R. Members here hosted a small ceremony and laid more than 473 wreaths on the graves of veterans of all America’s wars. Wore my gavroche for Bel Ami, H parfum promo and name of my D.A.R. Ancestor on a memorable 45 to 75-degree winter day. BTW: In Texas, winter is the only time we see all four seasons—and quite often on the same day.

Sunday brought out pareo Mythiques Phoenix and matching headband for a swim-exercise day at the Y. You might say these are almost icy colors in bleu nuit, etc.

Monday’s Plummeting temps called for heavily wrapping up in CSGM Tous Les Bateaux du Monde, a bit of a workhorse for me, paired with L’Air de Paris gav to keep the darn turtleneck tight. Boats floating in warm waters, perhaps, but the icy-toned border is closing in!

Wonderful!

So pretty on you!

Lol!

Reminds me of the campaign where the models were jet-skiing with silk scarf head wraps.

Beautiful scarves and such a wonderful thing that you do!

ha, I can barely hold onto my swimsuit when jet skiing, but hey :)

I am giving my Christmas scarves a rest today, and bringing out Jeux de Cartes, my SOTD. What drew me to this CW was that icey grey background with cool creams

Another pale beauty is Brides Fleuries

I love that Brides Fleuris! Could never wear it though. I actually tried it on after seeing you wear it, but it simply didn’t work well...

Visiting the wonderful xmas-market at Hellbrunn Castle with my new bespoke L'Hiver silk on layers of knitted cashmere, so cozy and warm.

Wait, what do you mean, bespoke? How do I get in on this?! Looks amazing btw.

Went out shopping with DD last night and this is what I wore. Not on theme, but festive for the season... It’s Orgauphone et Autres Mechaniques worn with my vintage Lea Stein scottie dog brooch

Can you explain to me why you have a red Orgauphone and I don’t? Mine is orange... :)

I think the scenes in La Vie a Cheval are supposed to capture the 4 seasons, but in this CW they all look pretty chilly:

Oh I have never seen this CW! Wonderful.

Sharing archive pics of my Grand Prix du Faubourg, which is all grey and icy blue barring that orange hem!

This design was my holy grail but to be honest I've barely worn it since purchasing... I wish I had held out for one of the brighter cws. I feel like the intricate details of the design get lost in this monochrome cw.

It is beautiful, but I see what you mean. I think the details get a bit lost in all CWs to be honest, since it is such a ‘busy’ scarf. It does look so good though!

Today a tail (:giggle:) of Falcons, one a pale blue, one a buttery cream.

Eventually I’ll get to the grays (maybe?), I’m having an awful lot of fun just showing the creamy, pale ones!

Ha! You look really good in creams. Very elegant grande dame (but of obviously much younger age!)

I'm on topic today! Merveilleuses Lanternes. It is a 90 but has a very soft hand like the vintage 70's, very comfy to wear.

That’s a lovely CW and it really works for you.

I will pm you.

Can you PM me too?! :)

Chevaux de Trait. This week is making me unearth all sorts of treasures. I think this is actually the first time I have ever worn this one...
It’s gorgeous and I love the scarf ring!
I really need to wear mine more often!

Love your doubled up look with the Panthera!

Nice to see you Joannadyne! Missed you! Where have you been hiding?
Good to be back! I’ve mostly been hanging out on Instagram (same handle). Sometimes I feel a little self conscious posting the same pics here and there but then I have to remind myself that not everyone is on IG. I’ve been trying to take some pics of my pastel scarves all week but I’ve had to work from home and when you work from home you generally don’t get out of your pjs. Well, at least I don’t! But I’ll make an effort tomorrow.
