You're undoubtedly right, there is no wrong cw here. That's why people buy multiples! I have the bright pink in this design and the one from earlier in the year with gray, navy and white. I found your cw on-line so I may have that one, too, pretty soon.
Thank you, I love earth colors, and then with a print that's inherently earthy -- geodes or agate slices --- I loved this kind of thing. Yes it is a black background.
