hi, i posted in the middle of april fool 12 hours ago and my thread is missing, i dunno if its being removed or just out of april fools error

anyway i need your kind helps, i am wondering if these items are included in our sa's in usa or europe commissions:
1. handbags other than birkin n kellys - let say toolbox, lindy and constance, does our sa get commisions from these?

2. leather bracelets like kelly dog, collier de chiens or kelly double tour?

3. small leather goods like bearn wallets, calvi etc?

and the last but not least

4. what about silks and cashmeres, like gm cashmere, twilly etc?

pls do share your knowledge with us :smile1: thank you very much, if some of you wondering whats the point of my question is, i need to know this so next time if i wanna get these items, i will look for my usual sas instead of buying it from random H store that i dont have relationship with.

I am actually confused now. Some SA would say to wait for them, like in the case of my sis in us, she had to wait for two weeks before she could actually purchase an item which she thought have been sitting there for a while because her SA went on leave. In one instance, SA went ahead with me purchasing an item with other SA because it was his day off when i said i'd be coming in. Hmm...

I don't believe H SAs get individual commissions, at least not in Europe. They do get some "bonus" payment as a team though which is based on the overall performance of the store.

wow this is great! i am hoping this is really whats going on in europe.
in USA however i am pretty sure its individual commissions bcause my mom and my aunts are living witnessessss! for example....there was 1 time they were offered a croc birkin....but they HAVE to buy the bearn wallet in croc to get it, the sa actually said this directly...we can give the birkin croc to you if you buy the bearn croc as well.

birkel: so sorry i dunno what happened with my post, the april mop programme put ***** on my post =) what do you think dear?

I think in at least some cases there is a quota to meet, rather than a pure, standard commission. And like Xiang said I think meeting/beating these quotas often affects bonuses and other incentives.

That "you must by a bearn to get the bag" is BS. Oh, I believe it happened to your mom, but that was a crappy SA, not how it is intended to work. It's a terrible way to treat customers!

I believe in the US, SAs get commission on everything but B & K. if you look at your receipt, you will notice that all non B or K purchase has the sales associate's name attached. for B and K, commission goes into a pool and split amongst everyone (read that somewhere here).

besides commission, there is also a store/team target which, if met, results in a bonus. (I was told this).
