I was wondering if anyone here knew whether SAs have a preference on what items they sell. For example, are they rewarded more for selling H jewelry, scarves, rtw, shoes, slg, etc.? Or does it not matter what type of items they sell, and only total sales is important?

While browsing through various threads here I came upon people stating that some SAs specifically tell new customers to purchase scarves or rtw in order for them to be offered a B or K. I already have great, long-standing relationships with SAs, so I don't need to forge a new relationship or anything, but I wonder if it helps my SA if I bought certain items more than others. I assume leather bags are lowest on their list since it's easiest to sell them (especially Bs and Ks), but do they actually receive more commission or some type of benefit for selling other types of items? For example, if I had $50,000 to spend, would my SA prefer that I spend the money all on jewelry rather than a combination of croc lindy (non B or K bag) and something else (like rtw and small leather goods)?

there seems to be some various thoughts as to what one has to buy in order

to get the item they want or are looking for... where I am in the NYC I don't

run into anyof these issues... if something that I am interested in is available

I am shown it...I don't have to buy something else in order to see what

I want..but I am also a long time buying client... that could make a difference

even though it shouldn't but from other threads it does semm too

Not too nice a story but im sharing it anyway, my sis was promised a B only if she would get an evelyn, so she did not just one but two, she was told that her B will be shipped in a week's time. Within that week, she got a call telling her that her B will only be sold to her if she would purchase a lyndi. So i guess it's not actually the commission in certain styles but the commission in selling more.

In what part of the world did this take place ?
