Sapphire/diamond bracelet - Should I?

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! There is a similar bracelet with rubies and I could also custom order one with green emeralds. Of the 3 stones, which do you think will look best - sapphires, emeralds or rubies?

I think it's the kind of classic, sleek art deco design that would work with any of those stones. If you don't have a favorite amongst those 3, maybe go with what stone or color would work best with your usual wardrobe? If you prefer warm colors in your wardrobe, emerald or rubies would be lovely and if you have more cool colors, sapphires would complement that nicely.

(I asked about unheated and untreated stones because I just personally prefer those.)

^^I was just going to say this. Emeralds, in a bracelet, could get banged and chip. I believe saphires are the second hardest stone with diamonds being the hardest. Lovely bracelet!!!

I have a diamond and sapphire bracelet and love it!!! I say go for it!!!

A question based totally on personal preference......

My bday is in Sept., my fave color is blue so I say sapphires of course.

I would be careful of buying an emerald bracelet because they are more fragile than sapphires or rubies.

Now that you mentioned this, my jeweller did warn me emeralds are rather fragile! And they cost more than sapphires too. So maybe sapphire's a good choice. Hardier and cheaper:D I still have a tennis bracelet to pay for :p

I have both warm and cool tones in my wardrobe. But I think sapphire would be easier to match? I have a pair of sapphire earrings too so I guess the bracelet would go with it? I hardly wear the earrings though, I thought they were kind of plain.

I will have to ask my jeweller if the stones are heated or unheated but they're so so tiny, I guess it doesn't make a difference.

By the way, I can't help drooling at your Panthère bracelet every time I see your avatar!

Beautiful! Do you wear them together? I'm wondering if the sapphire/diamond bracelet will look nice if layered with a tennis bracelet, which I'm also getting.

I personally like to stack my bracelets together. A bit over the top but fun :D

Show pics please of your tennis bracelet when it arrives!

In all honesty the one on top is the better choice....

Personally I think some people are trying to sway you based on preferred colour or what they have always worn...... not good ideas to go by.

your heart knows the right answer...... listen to her!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just make sure you get quality!
