I had briefly talked about it to my SA and she added it to my wishlist, but I didn’t get my hopes up because I thought it was one of those harder to get non QB bags. It was definitely a surprise when I got the offer!
Love surprise offers like this! That's sort of what happened with me for box - I didn't think I'd really "qualify" for it and only casually mentioned it maybe once that it'd be a dream to own a bag in the leather.

I got Constance Mini while I was waiting for the first QB offer last year. That was soon after I bought bracelet. It took about 5 months to receive QB offer after the Constance. Constance may have delayed the QB offer a bit, but I wasn’t in a rush so it was okay, and also for sure I wasn’t a big spender.
I just got Kelly Danse this week, so I’ll see how long it will take for the next QB offer to come my way:biggrin:.
Congrats on the offer! What a lovely collection:loveeyes: Kelly Danse is definitely on my list too - it’s so easy to use yet inherits the elegance from the Kelly.

Not sure if this is common knowledge. My SA said that there was a new process of checking your photo ID (to match with account) once a year when you update your wishlist.
Yes. She checked my ID yesterday when we were in the store. She wasn't positive for the reasoning, but there are a lot of people who pay cash, and maybe use other people's accounts to purchase? That is my guess. My SA also said they no longer let people use cash to pay for a bag, it has to go on a card.

Interesting! I've seen people pay for QB in cash and thought "MONEY LAUNDERER!" Why are you running around with $13K+ in cash?! It also has to be an inside job as if you're getting a QB, that SA/store manager knows exactly who you are.

Last year, I noticed SAs having to have certain sales (besides QB) checked when ringing them up. Not the most luxurious experience IMO, but clear there is something going on at Hermes ...

Oh yes, they've had someone double check what they are ringing up for a while now. My SA said it was because something did go missing...meaning it ended up in someone's bag without being rung up.

Does anyone know how long it take for a shipment to arrive in store?

During my last visit, an item I am interested was not in store but my SA said he saw one in shipment and will put down my name and contact me once it arrived. It has been a while and I am not sure whether I should check-in w/ my SA or it's pretty normal for a shipment to take over a month to hit the store?

Thanks!!

I would check in. My SA once told me she could order me something and I didn't hear about that item for 6 months. It never hurts to check in with them, but prepare yourself for the usual "I'll let you know when it arrives." and then not hear from them for months. LOL

From what my SA has told me, while they can see what items in upcoming shipment, they do not have any ETA whatsoever of when it will arrive. I've had them put my name down for twillys, RTW, shoes and homeware. They've all taken different time to arrive which can be days, weeks or even months (I've waited over 6 months for an item as well).

It wouldn't hurt to remind your SA but not much other info they can give you based on my experience.

I waited 9 months for a jewelry tray once :) Sometimes items will take a while, it just depends on availability/inventory. I don't think it ever hurts to follow up though.

Oh wow, thanks for the insights plory and in_mybag! Super helpful to have the expectation.

This is truely a journey of patience :flowers: then haha. Didn't know it will take this long and don't want to act pushy to my SA. I guess I will kindly follow up while inquiring for some of the new pieces I'm interested in: )

If you happen to be there and the item is in stock, you might be able to bypass the waitlist (excluding the quota bags of course). There was a time when the mini Saint Louis lamp had a set # of people waiting, but my SA was able to offer it to me on the spot. That said, certain tableware pieces are severely impacted (i.e. in_mybag's jewelry tray might fit this criteria), so it’s not always a guarantee....

Oh wow okay I guess that's fair. Hermes would like to motivate client to visit the store more often : D Thanks for the insights!
