I was wondering about the Sales Supervisor title, as the gentleman who sold me my first Birkin is one. The whole experience was pretty surreal, as I had no prior buying history at this store. I was wondering if he held any special powers.
Apparently some other SA at the store were whispering about getting their bags "authorized". How does the authorization process actually work?
The next rank up from Supervisors, is Asst Store Managers. Then Store Managers.Who is next?
Well a sales associate is specifically supposed to help customers on the sales floor. It is probably (depending on the supervisor / situation) better procedure for a sale associate to direct a customer who is interested in a special order or installation to either the Special Services Desk or Pro Desk. In this case, the associate is not taken away from his much needed spot on the sales floor. My SA’s title on her card is “Sales Specialist”...anyone know if that is the same thing as “sales associate” just with different terminology? Or some in-between SA/supervisor role? Just curious!
