I am kind of feeling like I hope it does cancel because at this point it's a bit frustrating to have a pending LARGE amount (I purchased a Saint Laurent bag with Gucci Sneakers) and I am feeling like my money is just being held hostage. It has been a week for me too! My other purchases when Covid-19 was REALLY hitting the states strong seemed like it was processing rather quickly. By no means am I trying to rush the workers, I'm just a bit annoyed with the lack of update by customer service when I call in regards to the order or a simple email letting me know about the delay.

That's been my experience, too! Saks seemed really fast with the few orders I placed about a month ago, but this time around (since about Memorial Day) has been a different world. My cancelled order was supposed to replace a damaged item, and I've been back and forth with customer service for too many hours already (I can't get their hold music out of my head haha....)

You must have some really ultra good luck and It clearly rubbed on me because I received a notification that my items have shipped! I really hope your items come back in stock!! Thank you so much for your positive energy!!

Oh that’s awesome!! You’re welcome and I’m so glad you’re getting them! Your experience gives me hope - I got a back-in-stock notice a couple days ago, and even though my new order still says “in process,” hopefully it works this time! Enjoy your new items!

I wonder if the issue is with items being shipped from a store? My last two purchases that came from stores either arrived defective (New Orleans) or cancelled altogether (Beverly Hills). Warehouse orders are much faster, but my latest "processed" purchase is also coming from Beverly Hills with almost a week delay already, so I'm concerned it's going to be cancelled again. Is there any way around this?
 
I’ve also had a horrible experience with Saks! I paid with Paypal but moved recently and hadn’t yet updated my billing/shipping address information, so Saks sent me a cryptic email about “needing more info” on my order and to call the listed phone number, or they’d cancel my order. Well, listed phone number went straight to voicemail each time I called and was never answered.

Regular customer service agents couldn’t handle a simple address confirmation for some reason, so I was on the phone for hours over two days. I STILL haven’t even gotten a confirmation of shipment, and I ordered (with express shipping) on July 3rd!

Horrible experience and customer service, especially for how expensive the order was. Unacceptable

A few weeks ago I ordered a handbag that was on sale. A few days later they sent me an email canceling my order. I called and complained because this has happened to multiple online orders lately. They gave me 15% off my next order, but said I could only get it over the phone. So he transfers me and I place an order for another bag. Then when I receive an order confirmation email, I see that they are shipping the bag to a stranger in another state! How does this happen??? I called and they couldn't change the address, so I had to just cancel that order too. About 10 days ago I placed an order for another handbag that was on sale (I know, I know...if I wasn't such a sucker for a sale...). It was supposed to arrive last Friday and still has not been shipped. When I call CS they say it will ship sometime, but they don't know when. Seriously. I was trying to treat myself since I have been so good over the past several months and Saks really ruined it. I get that there are bigger picture problems in the world right now. I was just looking for a little joy and didn't get it.
 
I pre-ordered an item in early June. It was supposed to ship in early July and I receive it shortly after July 4th. Then received an email saying I’ll receive it 7/13. 7/13 came & went, no package. Still shows as in process I’ll just have to call customer service & cross my fingers they can help.
 
I have a return issue with Saks and am beyond pissed at this point. I bought a few handbags on sale didn’t like them so I returned them a week later. I shipped via USPS per their return label and have not received my refund yet. I ended up opening a dispute with Amex over it included the tracking info and they finally responded two days ago with the dispute declined. I also emailed Saks about it and they responded saying that they never received the return items. Now I’m going to have to waste a bunch of time on the phone with Amex over this. I made the return on 5/28 if they haven’t received it yet then that’s their issue with the post office not my fault. I will NEVER shop with Saks again after this.

That is is so strange that AMEX would deny your dispute since you provided proof that Saks received the items back. Did they say why they denied your claim?
