Do these codes always come in through texts? I never signed up for text messages, but I guess I am missing some good opportunities. I'm signing up today.

Do you know if they generally work on fine jewelry? Thanks.

Mine always come through email. I think they have something to do with the amount of money you spend. I used to get 10% coupons, but I've been getting 20% and an occasional 30% since I've been spending more. I could be wrong, but that's how it has worked out for me.

Thanks, I do get a lot of Saks eMail and I don't get these coupons so I guess I am not spending enough! I spend a decent, but not huge amount. Wow, 30% is fabulous.

The Saks's codes are weird tho...my Saks account that I use for all my purchases is tied to my hotmail, but when I got invited to be a Saks advisor I signed up for a separate account with my gmail address. I never make purchases with that account, but it's the one they send me discount codes to.

Well its a nice reward for your input to them. :smile1:

Good Morning beekmanhill, oh gosh I agree with you. I have spent at least six grand this year and maybe two per year at max previously but never even received a 20% off code. I have to rely on the ladies who post their codes on this thread for a decent discount. I always get 10% off sent to my duplicate e-mail and not the one I registered with on saks.com. I don't get it. Are we suppose to be spending like millionaires to get a 20% or 30% off code? I am a saks advisor as well. Interesting.

Good morning, Fally, I spend at that level as well, this year over 5K, maybe 6, I am sure. I'm not an advisor, I think I turned that down. WTF.........................

I do get gift cards in snail mail now and then, but nothing like 20 or 30%.

The other thing that bugs me is that I wanted a jewelry item that was on their website during F&F (20% off). The S/A couldn't get it in from the vendor (don't know why if it was on the website, but anyway......). It finally came in about a month later, but they won't give me 20% off on it. So this is now making me more annoyed than I was before.:tdown:

Hmmm...interesting. I definitely don't spend like a millionaire. Most of the stuff I buy isn't coupon eligible which is why I often post them here. Not sure what their system is.

Goodness hon, not sure what it is we need to do that would require us to earn certain perks. I believe I was lucky about 7 years ago to receive a surprise gift card that was for $75 but never received anything else. The funny thing is I had not spent no where what it is that I am currently spending when they issued it to me back then.

I am so sorry that they did not even honor the 20% off towards your purchase. That would make me upset as well and reconsider shopping with them.

Good Morning gatorpooh, hehehe, no I was being silly. I know that most of us don't spend like millionaires but all my Chanel purchases aren't coupon eligible either so that is why I don't understand how they issue 20% or 30% to someone who isn't using those e-mails to check out with online. I guess they believe that those offers will entice the person to shop on their site as part of their marketing ploy. I think we are forced to open duplicate e-mails in order to receive any type of discount code because saks clearly only sends them to recipients that they deem as not shopping on their site.

Yeah, I don't know either. The S/A is holding the earrings for me, but I told her I am not buying them at full price. Now I can be more steadfast and not be tempted! :smile1:

Have asked to speak to her manager? I know that Bloomingdales.com and the stores won't offer the same sales as well but if you ask the SA's in the store to price match to the online sale they tend to honor it. I wonder if the SA at the store would reconsider that it was during the friends and family event and honor it for you? They should have done it because you purchased it during that time frame. So sorry hon.

Yes, I asked her to ask the manager and she texted she would, but has never gotten back to me. I texted her again on Thursday and she replied she didn't get a chance to ask yet. It seems to me there is no question I should get the discount, because I asked for them during F&F and they couldn't get them. Why the heck were they on line then?

Maybe it was meant to be..............or not meant to be, LOL!
