I've already purchased an etoupe size 21 one from the online store and am waiting for it to arrive. hopefully it will work with my relatively petite frame cos im 5'3'' only 🙈

I’m 5’2”, and it’s my favorite bag (actually got it for DH, but I borrow it for travel
Exciting bc it has a decent sized exterior back pocket
I’m wearing it with my H sellier baseball jacket in a private slot canyon tour in Utah.

Just wanted to add, this is not a mini bag. It can hold quite a bit; it’s the perfect crossbody drop for me; and it lies relative,y flat against one’s body, unlike the mini Della cavalleria.

I do and prefer the square corners
it is divided, concertina-like, into two equal compartments
each 2"/5cm wide maximum
and to the front, created by an additional sheet of hide, a slot compartment ideal for single papers
I use one of the main compartments for wallet, spectacle case, pencil case and other sundries
The other compartment is used for documents, books, folders . . .

the dimensions for a MacBook/LapTop should not exceed 31.5cm/12.5" by 25cm/10"
although the compartments are actually wider than that, the sangles restrict the maximum width at the sides

Oh- I was wondering about the traditional sac a depeche (without sangles- just a tab in front), not the kelly depeche, that has the sangles. I wonder if they are the same size...

Hi Everyone! I'm new to this forum, and here because I've discovered the Sac a Depeches. I'm still in research mode, but I'm finding myself drawn to the 2-38 models.

Of course, there are many on eBay. I see a few I like, but of course I'm concerned about authenticity. Also, I suppose I could buy one new, but I wonder if that's impossible? Seems that, like many luxury brands, nothing is "in stock."

1. I have a Hermes retail store nearby. Should I drop by and see if they have any for me to view/buy?
2. I assume any eBay purchase is a risk. Should I avoid pre-owned altogether?

I just picked up this handsome Sac à Dépêches (2-38) from 1999.

It's in great condition overall, but it's been stored empty. I wonder if I can breathe some life back into its shape with storage pillows.

I see a lot of model-specific pillows for ladies handbags, but not so many for the Sac à Dépêches. Does anyone have advice on where to find storage pillors for this bag? Also, when storing the bag, do I store it upright or laying flat? I notice the top seems to slump in a bit when I do.
