Vodianova looks fabulous (no surprise). I know Charlene doesn't like jewelry, but geez, suck it up for a few hours! Or wear a dress with a neckline that doesn't need a necklace. Not a fan of Caroline's dress, and please, please, please someone teach Tatiana how to get some volume into the crown of her hair. She always has flat hair and it does her no favors.

yes, yes, yes! the dress is gorgeous but she needs either a beautiful diamond statement necklace or some diamond chandelier earrings. she always looks "unfinished" and jewelry would finish off the look.

I agree with all who say Charlene needs some kind of adornment, particularly when I saw a close up picture.

Charlene looks lovely, and I think the dress is beautiful, but I agree that she needs some jewelry. I can understand if she doesn't like jewelry (I don't wear a lot of jewelry either), but she looks so plain without jewelry, like something is missing.

Charlene looks frggin AMAZING head to toe. Of course, she look incomplete with no jewels but the the peach dress' detail is so pretty that I'll forgive her today. Tatiana looks as good I've seen her in awhile. She looks like death warmed over..Princess Caroline looks okay in Chanel (I'm guessing since Lagerfeld is standing right there) but the dress is too pure white for my taste. Also, her lace can't compete with Char's. I like the black piping and her hair looks fabulous. Natalia Vodianova looks like a princess ll.

Agree with all about how amazing Char looks! No way I would want to stand next to her.....how do they decide the line up? Is it random,,,,height,,,,color of dress?

It's by rank, as ruling monarch it's Albert and Charlene then Princess Caroline etc. It's Natalia's ball(or her idea) so she the official hostess. As such she gets the top step with her beau Antoine Arnault then Andrea and Tatiana.

I don't really like Natalia's gown. The cups are too low and there's a serious risk of nipple. And it looks too tight for her.

Charlene......*sigh* I get that not everyone likes jewellery. But this is something beyond that, cos we've all seen her wearing diamond studs in her ears. It's more that she thinks the look is classier without any jewellery at all.

It bugs. Its like she thinks jewellery is vulgar. :rolleyes:

I cannot even imagine what the grande dames of Monaco think of this little affectation.

They probably HATE her for her unnecessary lack of jewelry.

I think that maybe she's decided that that's her "look" just like Queen Maxima is all bling, the Duchess of Cambridge is all legs/ short coats and the Princess of Asturias is all gray pants. Her trademark, so to speak.
