How on earth does Kate make best dressed lists?
Her style isn't awful, it's just safe and appropriate. Letizia makes this list almost every year and I don't think her style interesting at all. She can turn it up for big occasions but most of the she repeats her greys over and over. I'd take Kate over Leti any day.

I wouldn't put Leti on the list either, but I can see her more than Kate because while they're both generally boring and a bit frumpy Leti wows sometimes. Kate never wows IMO.

Princess Madeleine of Sweden, Duchess Catherine of Cambridge and Princess Letizia has made the 2013 Vanity Fair best-dressed list....hmmm,m:confused1:
There are lots of people on this list that I disagree with. As with so much these days, the philosophy of the list has changed. In today's world, with the right publicist, people can just buy their way onto the list....maybe we should consider it an honor NOT to be included ;)

I can't believe they overlooked Mary and put Leti on the list.
If I'm honest, this year Mary has done the opposite of Letizia. She's underwhelmed on the big occasions while really looking fabulous day to day. I think of her gowns for the 2nt event at the Dutch inauguration (that asian inspired dress), then she dressed too "old" for Madeleine's wedding. Plus there was the H&M Conscious collection lace dress that she styled completely wrong. Still, I'd have put her on the list for day to day style and the fact that she always make an effort. Her misses were when she tried something different. I my book that gets more points. Vanity Fair is not my book...or magazine as I generally don't read it.

I agree, lovehgss1. Plus, I do believe with the right PR company, anyone can buy their way on to this list.

The crown princely family of Norway spent a few days with Bill and Melinda Gates and their kids. They seem to be old friends.
