Round vs. Princess & other tricks?

Round! I have a 1.26 round and it has just as much if not more bang IMHO than my girlfriend's 1.50 princess. Just my opinion - I'm not sure she agrees! But I think they say round ALWAYS faces up the biggest.

i am a big fan of step cuts (asscher and emerald) but i have heard that round brilliants ALWAYS face up biggest.... more bang for your buck, and the most sparkle!
