JUST GOT BACK FROM THE JEWLERS.

So, i was set on a round. I was also settling for a .75, but they had a .95, SI1, IDEAL CUT (hearts and arrows), K. The only thing that bothered me was the color, but all the other specs were amazing, I could not turn it down, i can live with K. H showed me the hearts and arrows, i had never seen that before! It was very pretty and i was sold.

The stone was out of our budet, so i think the pave setting will have to wait :( But thats ok, this is already more than what i was expecting!

I had it set in a 6 prong. They did it for us in 15 minutes, David and Sons here in san diego, AWESOME. thats my plug for them :) they were awesome

however my bf did not let me see it and wont let me see it until he proposes!

Thanks for all your help! cant wait and will post pictures here when i get it!!!

Congrats!

Just FYI....all ideal cuts are not true hearts and arrows.....Just be sure you were not pulled into an all too common marketing ploy by jewelers calling their diamonds "hearts and arrows". Additionally, only AGS diamonds are listed as "Ideal" and they are called AGS000 stones. I just don't want to see people taken advantage of!

I am sure your diamond will be lovely regardless :p

Here it is everybody, popped the question while out to lunch today in front of my family :yahoo:
