Decided to reset my ring in RG as is a K color. Just love the look of warmer diamond.

This is STUNNING! And a K! I would love a K diamond (adore the warmth, plus my initial!) and am so pleased to see how gorgeous it is in RG - my favourite metal. This looks like a nice big rock too

I've noticed on white metal jewelry, if there's pink diamonds, rose gold is often used on the setting to emphasize the color of the stone. I think same goes for the reverse. If you have a rose gold band and a white diamond, you use a white gold setting to emphasize the stone. Just my guess though lol

Unless it is a lower color diamond, I would use white gold prongs and basket.

Thanks for the replies! It is a lower colour stone, and I want to enhance rather than hide that IYKWIM? I know I should go with WG prongs, but my heart is telling me RG!

My wedding set is 18k rose gold and I have no regrets! Everyone I know has white gold or platinum, so it's nice to have something a little different.
