Rose des vents - best bag ever?

I have really liked it! Structured yet very supple, holds a ton for a little bag, and is very light. Hopefully there isnt a problem with this type of lock in general.
Have you had any issues with corner wear? That was my only concern with this bag. Hopefully this is a one-off problem and your soon to be repaired/replaced bag will be perfect!
i have had no issues at all with wear so far, and i don't baby it. it's been banged on car door, sits in grocery carts etc. no corner wear and no scratches on the smooth leather portion either.
LV has called and emailed and will ship me a new bag ASAP and SA as well as store manager apologized. i really can't say enough about their customer service through all this

Idk this bag looks like a cheap version of the Chloe Medium Aby that came out in 2019. I really don't like how LV is folding the leather on the bottom of their bags now instead of stitching pieces of leather or canvas together. Seems lazy. IMO even the long strap is too narrow and again cheapens the look to me.
So i posted in the fall that my rose des vents locking mechanism broke after 2 wks or so of use, and LV replaced the bag promptly. So after using the new bag for 3 months on average ab once q 2 to 3 wks, the same thing happened again. I took it to LV today and they recommended that i get another style of bag instead. I think the bag's lock has a design flaw. So i got 2 bags in exchange for the rose des vent, one with a similar silouett. Would not recommend this bag even though i love the look of it

Such a pretty bag! Mind I ask how is the lockme ever BB holding up so far? I was tempted to get one but it was never available in the store. The CA offered to order me one but I rather see it in person first and get some honest opinions on this bag since I don't normally go for LV's leather bags, except for the epi Alma BB.

only just got it today, so not sure ab wear and tear yet. But its very structured, super uber light weight, holds all my essentials since I normally dont carry much, has 4 very flat feet on the bottom. Hopefully the turnlock on this style is more sturdy than on the rose des vents. Its also much cheaper. Thats why I ended up with 2 bags for the price of the rose. Thanks. Yes extremely disappointing. The two halves of the turnlock are held together by a very thin center metal core. After a few turns, it just snaps. I asked the SA if i'm the only one who has complained of this issue at their store. She said they have sold very few so she hasn't had anyone else complain of this problem, but the LV repair person said i should get an alternate style. Disapppointed for a CAD$5500 bag.
Wow! And it’s been okay since? It’s such a gorgeous piece.. hopefully this time it stays that way!My RDV doesn’t have the same problem but the flower area became ‘rusty’,
