Emerald appears to have been an Asian bag, but I was also told it was coming in April. But then I was told it wasn't.

Cobalt in Rory is not new.

I guess it's a new color. Weren't they supposed to have a marine colored Rory coming out....as in, aqua-marine maybe? Could this be it? I also read that there was supposed to be a sand colored Rory being released in spring.

Marine is coming next month. It is more of a purple color.

Sand and coral also expected.

See I have been told by 3 SAs that pull up the rory in marine & insist it is a deep BLUE...make that 4...so just maybe it is different than the other legacy bags?! Like other tpf'ers say the blush color is different depending on bags? Who knows yes, I was told Sand & Coral coming too...

I remember last year when I was looking for different colors in the tassels thar two different times the SAs described one of the colors as aqua. I can't remember which one of the abbreviations resembles aqua but I finally figured out that's what was happening.

Maybe that's the issue with the elusive aqua rory?

So I'm finding it easier to find a bag name if you have the style number, but not vice a versa. Can someone post the style number for the graphite/berry Rory? The not so close to me outlet said they'd put me in their system for one since I missed the sale.

Coach rudely waited til I was in China to put it in the FOS.

Did you catch the graphite Rory on FOS today? It's done to "almost gone" status. I hope you got one!

When they were describing an aqua tassel, maybe they were looking at the tourmaline one? Those 2 colors could be cousins as far as color family descriptions go.

That's what it was, I couldn't remember! But Rory didn't come in Carnelian right so I guess my theory is invalid.

Yes I did! Yay! I never believe it till I get a shipping notice but I'm cautiously thrilled. I've wanted a Rory for awhile, just couldn't decide on color till recently.

I knew I had seen pix of emerald Rory during the preview then they disappeared. It was probably the Asian bag that I saw. This was one reason it took me so long to jump in the Rory pool. I was determined to only get ONE so it had to be the right color.

I'm so happy that you were able to order the graphite Rory! I thought of you right away when I saw that it was posted in FOS this am and came looking for your post. I swear it was not on the last sale or it maybe it was 'almost gone.' I will have good thoughts for your Rory to now reach you safely and in pristine condition!

Carnelian Rory was in stock at coach.com just the other day when I looked; it's probably still there. I saw some in a FP Coach in NYC a few before Christmas. They are very pretty.
Has anyone been curious enough to call Coach yet to find out the deal with aqua Rory?

Thank you tlo! I knew someone would be curious; I was darn near ready to but I'm surfing between tPF and entering Coke rewards that are so hard to read sometimes. Oh, I bet marine will be pretty. I know that cobalt sure looked lovely.....
