Congrats! It took me forever to warm up to Molly. Felt stiff and boxy at first. But now I love it.
OMG my Molly was super stiff when I first got her!! I have a pic when I first carried it and it straight up looks boxy...then after a couple days she slouched and it's so soft and it's gorgeous(Ill try to post a pic) . I definitely think the Molly is a good size bag....I would suggest taking the stuffing out and load her up with your stuff. Hang her on a chair or door knob to get it more relaxed.

And...I thought I had a pic but I don't have a recent pic oh my Molly (she's in a box up in my closet)...but here's a pic of what my Molly is like now. Soft and slouchy on the sides

Hope you end up keeping it and loving it. The color is TDF and the bag is gorgeous
I wear it as a satchel with the shoulder strap still on it. I just shortened the shoulder strap as far as I could on both sides, and it just lays against the back of the bag without getting in the way at all. I still can access the back zip pocket easily. I don't know why anyone would need to double the strap when it's already so adjustable.
I carry her as a satchel, but I like having the long strap just in case. I would never take it off because I think the empty buckles look silly. I don't double the strap because I don't like armpit bags, and also because it would be more on the way of getting into the bag.
i wear my Molly as a satchel but when i need to be hands free i'll throw her on my shoulder. I have the long strap on the last hole....and i agree with another member that i wouldn't take the strap off b/c i dont like the look of the Molly with the buckles just laying on the side of the bag. I wouldn't try to double the Molly straps b/c it would make the strap short and make the bag uncomfortable to wear....you could just buckle the strap on the first hole to make it a shorter strap.

Finally part of this club. I know the cognac rory has been revealed so many times, but I wanted to share mine. I just love the rich color and beautiful leather. The only negative is that I wish the strap was longer for more comfortable crossbody wear. Since I'm only 5'5" I can wear it crossbody, but I don't think it looks all that great cuz it sits higher up. Overall, it's a classic, well-made bag and will be in my collection for a long time!

Love it!!!! I don't care how many times it's revealed. I'll always love to see a Rory! ---Especially a cognac! I have a black one and it is killing me not to get the cognac! Thanks for sharing!
