I'm the opposite, I tend to carry my Molly's with the shoulder strap.

The only thing that may annoy you with shoulder carry, is if the tassels slide down along the shorter handles, and go swinging about. The solution to that is two-fold: Either:

1) Clip a charm to the metal ring that attaches the short handle to the bag ... the tassel won't be able to slide past the charm, and will stay put at one "end" of the short handle. ..... or ....

2) Just cinch the knot of the tassels nice and tight, so it can't slide "easily" over the metal ring. In other words, tight enough that it can't slide down onto the hanging short handle. Make sense?

I've been enamored of the Rory for the past few days so started searching for one.....scored!
I found a Marine (aka. purple) Rory on the bay for a great price and can't wait to get her!

I'll be sure to post pics when she comes but I do thank you all for your input and photos of your lovely bags. This one ticked all my requirements.......

1. Decent size (lots of room!)
2. Great leather
3. Pretty color (a new one for me, never had a purple bag before)
4. Zipper closure (this is a huge one for me, love a zipper!)
5. Slouchy nature (love the slouch)
6. Great price......check!!!!!

Thank you! I do hope I love it as much as most of the others on this board seem to! Both the Molly and the Rory seem to have quite the fan club...must be a reason, right?

To me the Rory looks like the perfect cross between a tote and a satchel. Hard to go wrong
