Has anyone moved their tassel? Since I pretty much always carry by the long strap I had been thinking I would like it better on that strap. That way it doesn't slide down the handle, though I had more or less solved that by running the hang tag chain through, and it makes it easier to switch the tassel to another bag if the mood strikes.

The toughest part was untying it. I have it tied very loosely now, in case I decide to move it back on the handle, but if I leave it here I can move it by unbuckling the strap, and then hang it on one of my vintage bags if the mood strikes me.

I haven't moved it, but I've never had it slide down the handle. I just make sure it's tight enough that it can't move. I don't think I'd like it hanging off the end of the bag--that's what the duffle does and I don't love that. I'm talking about the Molly, by the way. I don't have a Rory--YET! I carry Molly with the handles and the long strap about 50/50 I would say.

well the whole point of that was to upload a picture and tPF app locked up and apparently hit send while I was typing it, and now I can't get into the app at all, so...picture coming soon. LOL

Yes, on my fuschia Rory I untied the tassels and looped them on one of the silver rings on the back, the rings between the handles and the body of the purse. I'll have to find it and upload a pic.

My first Rory.

I love this handbag, but I missed it on FOS and I have not seen one in my Outlet.
By the time I decided I wanted a Rory, they were all pretty much sold out at my nearby outlets and FOS...but a few days ago, one of the outlets I check out had one cement Rory tucked in with other neutral colored bags on their wall of deletes. SA said they received a few more legacy. It was my lucky day! Have your SA track one down for you. It's worth a shot!

Gorgeous!!
thank you!

Thanks for the feedback. I'll give it a try. :smile1:
