Hi! Everyone,

I will travel to Rome, Florence, Venice & Milan in late Sept. Wishing to get some news on Italy H-Store.
I like beautiful colour of handbags, charms & scarf, especially the Anemone items. TIA.

any good SA in Milan? are bags other than b or k open to tourists? thanks.
I was in Milan last week and had a good chat with a manager at H Milan, they reserve B and K for local clients only. They had other bags for tourists but stock was very low, not much that interested me. I was able to get a few carmens and a pilo.

I went to H Milan 2 weeks ago and yesterday. Most, if not all their bags are for display only, even the atoll garden party I requested to see that was on display. I am not sure why, but certain dogon wallets and bearn wallets were also for display only. May be because it is the milan fashion week. There were a lot of people in the store.

You have to go upstairs for small leather goods and bags. The first time I asked if there was a black Birkin. The SA told me there is a waiting list. In my humble opinion, the SAs downstairs are more friendly. I was told plainly to go downstairs when I decided not to buy a wallet and wanted to look at other things.

The second time I went back, I started downstairs looking at scarves and bracelets. When I wanted to look at SLGs and bags, the SA brought me upstairs and showed me the various items. I'm not sure if there is an unwritten rule as to whether SAs upstairs can serve you downstairs.

Rome: There was a croc birkin on display. No lindys but the SA did say one was available earlier in the day. So maybe go earlier in the day.

Florence: Limited stock

Venice: I was told there were no bags at all. Stock was extremely limited.

Just wanted to say how lovely the staff in Rome were last Saturday. It was raining cats and dogs and I had thought I would be okay with my B under an umbrella, but I think it was the horizontal kind of rain that day, so we were absolutely soaked! Whilst I was buying a couple of scarves, a lovely SA came over and gave me a rain protector for my B, which was an absolute life saver (meant we could continue shopping!:p).
There was a gold 35B on the shelves, as well as a lot of other lovely bags. We ended up going back in the afternoon to look for something for DH, and the B was gone. I can't believe anyone other than tourists were out in such foul weather, so I wonder if it did go to a non-local!

LOL, I was there yesterday and talking to one of the SAs he said that on Saturday the store was packed and the streets were empty because of the rain!!

Wow! It was not display only? I was in Rome back in 2013 and all b and k on the shelf was tagged display only. I should plan another trip to Rome !!

Just came back from the Rome store; very unfriendly staff. It's hit or miss it seems but we arrived 1 hour to close - stayed for half hour and not one assistant came to help : DH bought some items and the bloke helping us actually had a pained look ( think RPatz from twilight)

We are off to France in 3 days and will post experience in the other forum- hopefully with a more pleasant update. [emoji5]️

LOL at the twilight comment...
I was in Rome in 2013, asking for clutch, KP or KC or Jige. As my hotel is just up the Spanish steps, I went nearly everyday and the SA just kept saying soon, it will be soon if you buy more of other things. I swear I see him putting a box on the glass cabinet on purpose just to show me they do have one, the box size was for KP I swear! The box was just kept there, no other customers were looking at anything else. I left without asking further as I didn't like that attitude.

I did get a box kelly wallet there though a day earlier. It was on display and I quickly grabbed it.

Interesting experience! I will be staying near the Spanish steps in February and will take a peek in this store. Thank you for helping me manage my expectations as far as service and selection are concerned!
