Hai dear TPFers, im going on early november to rome, florence, venice, sorrento coast, milan. Im not hoping for B or K but I'm thinking about the chances of getting a Lindy 30 in neutrals or darker colors. Is it possible? It's not a peak tourist season, does it give more chances? :) thx

meidyhandaya, just returned from H in Capri a few days ago. I believe it is a seasonal store, so just double check that it is open when you are there. It is a very small store; I've seen airport stores that are larger. In terms of stock they had many belts, but very few SLGs, scarves, and bags. When I was in, the SA said she didn't see a shipment in a few days. A woman shopping in the store mentioned that she scored a black croc B a few years ago as a walk in - I guess it comes down to luck!

Rome had a 35 FEU B on display as well as a HAC in Malachite on Monday. I do believe they were both 'display' bags and not for sale. As it has been discussed and mentioned by me some posts earlier, those coveted bags are hard to obtain in Italy. They are reserved for locals - but if you're looking for other less sought after bags, the Milan and Rome stores, are the ones with best stock!!

I just came back from Milan , before that was Venice

Venice - many twillies and accessories , I didn't ask for Lindy / Kelly / birkin cos there were some rich mainland Chinese ppl there who asked n didn't get any - they had Kelly wallet in orange croc on display though

Milan - no twillies at all ! I also didn't ask for bags cos there was a group of Asians being told that there isn't any bags . I got a belt though

I am Chinese too btw but not from China so I doubt my chances are higher than theirs

Well I'm chinese too.. Been to the milan store few years ago. Meet a lady who works there, she's asian and from the same hometown as I am. But no luck either for any sought after bags.

Hopefully there will be more stocks in november.

I don't know about other cities, but Rome, Florence and Venice didn't have B on display. There were K on display at those stores but they wouldn't sell them to me, a tourist. Maybe if you see a rare croc B/K somewhere, you may have luck as crocs are not as affordable so they may not be as picky.

You may want to try the Naples store, it is 2 hrs drive from sorrento. I was offered a kelly 40 there, didn't take it as didn't like size or color but they were the nicest of all italian stores i went to, and willing to show what they had. They also had jige and lindy (30 i think)

Had wonderful service in Rome today- wasn't looking for a bag, but all of the SAs were lovely and friendly. BTW, there is a turquoise B35 "for display only", and a great selection of belts and smaller bags (Evys, double sens, etc).
