Chrono24 costs almost double I think?

I wanted my stolen watch replaced ASAP last summer and we found a replacement, new, and it wasn't double. I find a lot of prices very fair.

Just compared 2 gold 36mm with the exact specs I'm hoping for; Rolex is $38,750, Chrono24 is $46k but in stock.

Authenticity is guaranteed, but I took mine to my local dealer to remove links knowing he'd detect an issue.
Unfortunately I dropped it and broke the crystal so it's already in service now, which also confirms it's authenticity.

Hi everyone,

I have a 36 mm all gold day date and now find it too big for me.
I want the 31 mm or even 28 but it seems impossible. I have been told it could take years if at all. I don’t want to sell this one, if it will be impossible to get a new one. I guess it doesn’t really matter as it isn’t important, but trying to distract myself from more serious issues. Will Rolex ever catch ul to demand or is this here to stay?

If you're okay with going grey, there are a bunch of reputable grey market dealers who could source the watch you're looking for, and it should be a better price than Chrono24 as Chrono24 takes a chunk of change for doing business on their platform. I've purchased a brand new watch from Watch Chest before, and it looks like they have a bunch of gold 31 and 28mm models on their website.

In Canadian dollars, it is about 15k more than at an AD on the grey market. ‍♀️

I use watch forums like rolexforums and watchuseek. There's also subreddits like watchexchange.
