I just got it!!! And I’m OVER THE MOON WITH IT. It is definitely a fun and unusual watch and beautiful in its simplicity (no date, no functions) and the color absolutely pops in real life - even the Rolex website doesn’t do it justice. I know it’s a polarizing look but all my watches are classic or sport watches so besides my J12, this one really stands out from the collection. I have it in the 36 since I tried the green one in 31 and I just don’t like the smaller face on me (probably because I’m so used to larger watches for so long). I’m not a “girly” gal so this is just perfect for me! (For reference I wear a 16 Love and a 15 JUC)

How long was your wait?
I placed an interest for 36mm in Jan this year, went to store yesterday to check status. I’m 5th in the waitlist and the store has only received one 36mm in the last 12 months. So I expect mine to arrive in 4 years time 🫣. I’m not giving up since it’s still in production ☺️
Thank you!! I’d been waiting for more than 2 years so I went gray. My AD also had only seen only one 41mm in a year and realistically I didn’t think I could get one anytime soon…and I’m afraid it’ll get discontinued and then the price will go up even more. I have no idea if it’ll get discontinued but it just wasn’t worth waiting and I’ve absolutely loved having it - I’ve been wearing it nonstop since I got it!
This is what several AD’s told my husband. He wanted this watch or the air king. He wound up with the air king. We picked up the watch yesterday!
Just FYI for anyone looking to get one still…it was just published today that Rolex has stopped making it. I really love mine - it’s been getting disproportionate wrist time - so if you love it and can find it, definitely get it!

I was just in a Mayor’s jewelers in Tampa. They had one in a separate display case. I do not believe it was for sale, but I did not ask.

A BNIB, unworn 36mm Celebration model just popped up on Swiss Watch Expo’s website yesterday … it is a pretty penny, though, more than triple its retail.
Resale prices will probably only continue to skyrocket on this model (at least for the time being) now that it’s officially been discontinued. Anyone who is able to score it at retail from the boutique is lucky! 🩵
