And inspired by you I tried both and got this beauty just in time for Mother's Day!

I was just noticing my diamonds are set differently (raised). Could it be because it's an older model?

Anyone else have insight on this?

Look like You have original diamond dial, it's from late 70's /early 80's - if you can show straight face with date window I can tell you more info

This was the original diamond face style/setting Rolex used to do, you'll find this on older and vintage models. I think the new style diamond setting was done in the 90's-present :) Enjoy it, looks gorgeous!

Please help!!

I am deciding between 2 rolex watches, please kindly give me some of your opinion and state why. Thank you all!

I'm not a two tone fan in jubilee. I think it looks better in oyster. Here's mine. I believe it's the same one as the photo you posted.

I have been wanting a Rolex and have narrowed it down to a two tone, 36 mm, Jubilee bracelet. Now here is the confusing part. For a first ( and maybe last ) Rolex should I go for Mother of Pearl face or Champagne with diamond markers?

I am looking at buying them used and they are about $500 difference in price so that would not be a consideration.

Did you pick up your watch yet? I love MOP. I think champagne makes the watch appear darker and not as shiny. My mother got champagne and switched it out to white face with diamond markers.
