Roman on white or MOP. Diamonds on champagne or MOP. Silver dial only if you are going for steel/ white gold. I had the same issue with dial and markers but decided on diamonds on MOP, no regrets, in fact I kept reminding myself luckily I didn't go for otherwise, that was 5 years ago. Prices have gone up almost 40% today.

Thanks for the feedback, nvie! I have a feeling I will end up with either a champagne dial or a white dial. By the way, your Rolex sounds gorgeous. I would love to see a wristshot of it if you have a chance!

I love the Roman numerals!

I have a soft spot for Roman numerals, as well!

Do you like them on a white dial or champagne dial?

I personally chose the stick dial, but my face is silver. I was afraid that the roman numerals would make it look too crowded, and I also have a 31mm. I think the gold roman numerals blends in with the champagne color too much.

Also, not sure if you're aware but the white stick markers and the hour and minute hands glow in the dark so you can still tell the time if you're in the dark.

The champagne dial looks too "shiny" and passe for me when almost everyone is wearing white gold/stainless steel. My first choice would be a white MOP roman. Next would be either white roman or steel roman.
