Rolex 36 or 31mm for a woman

I have just traded my 31mm DJ for a 36mm DJ because I could not read the dial or date without glasses. The 36mm is a heavier watch but it also has a nice solidness to it. At 5'2" with a wrist size of 6" the fit is perfect. This is a lovely gift idea but think you should get your mum what she wants.

I am 60 and can no longer read the date on my 26mm unless I am in very bright light. It has a white face so I can still read the time LOL. My everyday watches are either a Rolex 36 Datejust or a Steel Submariner. Much better on my eyes!

Thanks for sharing. I'm decided to get her what she wants which is the 36mm. She's of the baby boomer generation and I think something smaller may too hard to read.
