Is it just me or does the new model rogue feel cheapish? The leather is stiff and without the covered leather piping edges looks lesser quality to me, like Michael Kors. The beige is such a good price on sale but I struggle with it. The chewy rich pebbled leather with the leather edge piping seems so much richer? What is anyone else’s thoughts?
I totally agree. I ordered a black rogue 25 with rivets from Nordstrom. The outer leather was so stiff it felt like they covered cardboard. The inside leather felt fake. Immediately return. Disappointed thus once coveted style has taken a turn for the worse!

I know at 50% I have always waited for this sale and jumped on them immediately but I do love this color however just feels so cheap. Prefer the rich suede lining of late as well. Just nothing like it was. Least there are still some pebbled leather for sale but looking at the new smaller easy weat rogues and this cheaper hard leather doesn’t look like they will continue pebbled leather in future. I have 10 and adore them. Been collecting since they came out 8 years ago. Oh how time does fly….

I was lucky enough to get the Lime Rogue 26 from Nordstrom. The leather is better on it. Sides are still a bit stiff but I love the bag so it's staying in my collection.
I do, very much, miss the whole 1941 collection from back when the 75th anniversary collection was out & the Rogues...

I am glad that you are posting about the lesser leather quality of some of the newer Rogues. I relatively recently purchased the Regenerative leather Black Rogue (with brass yellow hardware) in the regular, larger size and was happy that it was indeed a pebbled leather like my other Rogues. I did zoom in on the online image to see what the Regenerative leather looked like up close, before purchasing the bag, and it did look like the old, wonderful pebbled leather. I do not wish to have a Rogue in the glovetanned or other types of leather as I am not the kindest to my bags, due to klutziness, not due to lack of care or intentional recklessness, so I need my handbags to have the most ding and scratch-resistant leather possible, and for me, that means pebbled leather.

I was drawn to the new rivets on the black Rogues, but if they are not pebbled leather, I will not purchase them. Thanks for the heads up on this.

I will say that I have a few Rogue 20s with smooth leather from a couple years ago & they are good quality. In addition the leather on my Rogue top Handles are good. Not sure what the deal is with the regular Rogues but it used to be Rogues that went on sale sold immediately but now, some have still remained even when they've been 50% off for weeks.

I just brought home my first Rogue. I went in to look at the Empire 40 and spotted the 39. The leather was so much better on the Rogue 39 and I loved the shoulder straps. So unless the Empire comes out in green and gets a better leather I’m sticking with my new Rogue! She’s already stuffed and ready for a road trip tomorrow!View attachment 6057480
@TXLVlove - She's a beauty, for sure! I hope you enjoy wearing her! I love Coach's pebbled leather, too. There's just something positively sumptuous about that particular leather on the Rogue.

Ooh how pretty, perfect for a trip!
Also your stove is gorgeous

I agree with the statements above regarding the current Rogue quality issues! I think 2016 and several years following were some of my favorite coach purchases from the 1941 collection! I did end up purchasing the dragonfruit tea rose rogue when it went on sale but don't plan to purchase anymore that aren't top handle or pebbled leather.
