What is the dot by Vietnam for?
Interesting.....I was hoping to find a rogue 17 in black but now will reconsider until I hear more or see myself in person. Thanks for sharing the experience!Hey all! I had an opportunity to visit my local outlet today and they had the Rogue shoulder bags. The design is the same as the shoulder bags that had been available in the FP boutiques over the last year or so. Black & Navy in pebbled leather & grey in caviar leather.
Personally, I have not thought that the quality of the most recent batch of Rogues, any size, have been up to the quality of my 2nd gen Rogues. I would say that the pebbled leather versions of these outlet Rogue shoulder bags (which do have the 1941 stamp but a F in the creed) are of the same quality as the more recent FP boutique Rogues. All that said, the reason for my post is that I was thinking about purchasing a black one. It had a spot on the front so the SA applied some cleaner. When they pulled the cloth away, black dye was on the cloth & you could see where it had been "cleaned". I have cleaned & conditioned ALL of my 1941 items & not once have I had this issue. Obviously, this was a red flag & I did not purchase.
I cannot say whether this will happen with all of them, but I was not willing to take the risk. So, I just wanted to share my experience since I know there has been a lot of discussion about these particular bags on this forum.
I think I am with you on abandoning Coach....I'm just tired of their games and how difficult they make it to purchase their products. I looked to see if I could get in to the online outlet today but locked out yet again....why am I surprised?! I wanted to at least see the Rogue 17 but it doesn't show in the site I can get in to but can't purchase any way. I have too many bags as it is so no more Coach. I need to diversify. If anything, I'd look for some vintage bags of real quality. I have a short list of what I am waiting to hit outlet but then I'm done. The brand has no strong direction and took a wrong turn in the last 6 months. If someone is at the outlet and happens to see one of the black MFF rogues would you mind taking a pic please. It's the last bag on my list, if it's just rebranded FP bags than maybe I'll save a little money before I move on from coach and their very confusing ways.
I saw the rogue 25 in the sale, the straps do not link together, unless the photo is wrong. They also look cheap.I think I am with you on abandoning Coach....I'm just tired of their games and how difficult they make it to purchase their products. Thanks for sharing. I think the 17 is the same pics that they used on the FP website. The black one looks awful, I really hope it's just bad lighting but it looks cheap. The handles aren't laying nicely and the trim by the zipper just looks bad. It also doesn't look like the straps are removable. I guess I'm glad there's a noticeable difference. There were all the photos of the rogue they put on the sale.

Called customer service today. Much better talking to someone than online. She said they have only one more of these in the warehouse but they do have several in stores, so they would be able to send me a replacement bag in factory packaging that has not been used and should not have any wear on the hardware or stuff in the pockets. I asked to see if they could give me an additional 20% discount if I keep this one, since they had been offering that in stores, and she checked, but said that they could not. Trying to decide if I like the bag enough to ask for a replacement or just return it. At least customer service is willing to make the order right.I bought the Sunflower floral bow with sequins on the last day of the SAS. Had been stalking it for a while and decided I could always return it but might not have a chance to get it at this price again. It came with someone else's lip balm and eye drops in the inside pocket. Totally grossed me out, and I was ready to return it. Plus no dust bag and some minor wear on the feet and some of the hardware on the straps where they make contact with the loops. Nothing noticeable, though. Otherwise, it looks in new condition. It had a chemically odor, but that has gone away after a few days. After complaining to customer service, they are shipping a dust bag, and I took out the things that were left in the pocket. I can't decide if I want to keep the bag, though. I love yellow, and I love flowers and sparkly girly things, but I can't decide it is a bit too Easter eggy, if it borders on tacky or crosses over. I am also worried about the durability of the sequins, which are on both faces but not the sides. They look really beautiful - the flowers just shimmer. But I don't know how it will look with wear or if they start to fall off. I am hard on things and don't want to have to baby a bag. Anyone have experience with this type of sequin on a Coach bag? Too tacky? I only see this bag on non-US websites, so I am thinking maybe it was made for a different market. I love the Sunflower color. It is hard to capture so I took a photo with two different light settings on my phone. I think the second one is closer.
I've been told this same thing by sales associates and others. But how do we account for the factory story patch? When do they add it in production? I assume it's too difficult to remove an original fp story patch and replace with one from the factory? When I worked there it was the same fp bags just the patch had a F.

I own the oxblood Rogue 25 and absolutely LOVE it!I have the Prairie Rivets one and love it. I would call it more of a burgundy than oxblood.
Thank you for responding!!I asked about this awhile back in a full price store and the SA told me those bags are usually meant for regular stores and towards the end of production, for whatever reason, are creeded as outlet bags and sent there instead. But they don’t remove regular creeds and swap them for factory outlet ones. At least that is what I was told.
It would probably be best to post this in the authentication thread but I do know that that creed looks like one from the first generation Rogues. They did not have the 1941 stamping under the zipper leather trim like the later ones do. Does your bag have a lock on it? Inside that leather key fob there should be a key for the lock.
