That is crazy that they let them get through quality control. I expect way better quality in the 1941 line. Heck, most outlet bags look way better than this poor zebra striped looking rogue. I showed it to DH and he didn't even believe me when I told him it was leather, it's that rough and scratchy.

Sorry to hear that!

:woohoo: That looks fabulous!! Now you'll do the other side too?

You are sooo inspiring me to do more of these -- I saw your post about the Etsy source for the embellishments -- GREAT IDEA!!

PS. Did you use adhesive for the patches? Also, were the pins just straight push-through style?

Thanks! I'm waiting for some more pins to come in the mail for the other side; and yes, they are the straight push-through style.

Etsy has soooo many great things, there's tons of patches, pins and other decorating bits on it.

I wasn't sure what to use so I just went with Gorilla Super Glue Gel for the patches. It said it worked on leather and the patches seem to be stuck on there pretty good.

Love it. The bag, the patches/pins, the theme... :D I wish I were brave enough to go gluing things to my Rogue, but I don't think I can do it!!

Thanks so much! I've been thinking about doing it for awhile now but wasn't sure I'd want to on a brand new one.....but a slightly used, cheaper one....I say, if you ever find a cheap one, go for it!

PS: I got the patches and pins from the Etsy store Life Club.

That's the glue that worked great for me too (I think I had posted that). I'm glad that push-through pins will work -- thx for the heads up! Between patches and pins, I'll be hanging out on Etsy for a while. I've got two "unused" Coach bags in mind already that will become my new experiment, haha.

Turns out, the seller is a scammer so I am in the process of filing a claim.... it's getting rediculous, it's not safe to buy anywhere anymore.

I'm with you. And I'm so sorry for your loss. There have been a few times where I've considered buying and then decided not to buy out of fear. If eBay doesn't fix this problem soon they'll be out of business. I only buy little stuff there now.
