My star studded rogue in dark denim just arrived from Saks. It's absolutely gorgeous! It was definitely a return or display model though :( It came wrapped in just a sheet of plastic with brown paper stuffed inside. It is also missing the care cards and dust bag. I would reorder but it's sold out :(

Yes!! My regular SA texted me some older 1941 bags took discount, and now. I see multiple people scoring the same deal. I'm sure if you ask your SA to try ringing this style, discount will work on it.

Actually, one of the SAs who doesn't normally ring up tried to use it on my newest Rogue when my regular SA was out, not realizing 1941 was excluded. He tried applying the 30% discount multiple times then apologized. Although disappointed that some miracle didn't occur, I chuckled, told him not to worry, that I knew it wouldn't workworkout. He tried....the Rogue I purchased was the new beechwood. Not surprised its working on some older bags.

I tried both a new and older Rogue from the website but neither one would take the discount.

If anyone is willing to share SA contact info, I'd appreciate it. I'd feel a little silly now going back to the two that already told me it isn't possible to get the discount on older items.

Thanks for sharing. I don't think I'm going to try it. Invite says no 1941 so it's not meant for 1941. Saving 30% isn't worth getting any SA in trouble bc they got the discount to work on any isolated transaction/combination/style. I'm all for sales/discounts/deals(I need intervention actually...LOL, besides the point--ha ha)...but I'd feel pretty awful if someone jeopardized their livelihood for my collection. Know what I mean...?

The SA would not get into trouble as they have no control of the discount. They have to scan the code to apply the discount. The computer automatically rings the correct sale. If anybody notices, they have a barcode usually next to their registers (that's why for those of us who call over the phone or visit the store and don't hand them our invites, the SA uses this bar code).

Don't know if this is why but I have notice the Rogues that are ringing up with the discount are the older ones BUT the ones that are not on the Coach website but still at the stores like the blue whiplash one.

As I'm understanding it, it has to be ones that are basically discontinued and they would no longer be on the website. You'd have to get the style number for an older one to get the discount.

I wanted a 25 in black, but the black 25 is still on the website even though it's been around since the beginning.....and the style numbers have not changed, so I knew that number wouldn't work.

I agree, I didn't ask for the discount. My SA texted me with pictures of bags that took discount. I don't know what prompted them to try, but I don't think they'd voluntarily notify customers if there are any possibilities to get them into troubles.

Ask for Savannah in Louisville KY, Oxnoor Mall and see if the have what you're looking for.
