Wow, thx for the Coach Dustbags history! May I ask how you know all this?
By collecting a long time. Older dust bags were brown and made from a flannel type fabric and had outside stitching in red. Then they moved on to the silky bags which came in brown and an ivory color. Then around the time of the Dakota bags, the dust bags were black.....

You're taking me down to memory lane here! I think I've been lucky enough to have had one of every type. If memory serves me right, then:
  • Brown felt/thick cloth with white "Coach Est. 1941" in the corner and red pulls
  • Beige silk dustbag with brown pulls, Coach horse/carriage logo in the corner
  • White silk dustbag with red pulls, Coach horse/carriage logo in corner
  • Black silk dustbag with orange "Coach New York" in the middle (ONLY to be given with Coach Runway bags under Stuart Vevers Fall 2013 - Fall 2015)
  • White silk dustbag with white pulls, brown "Coach New York" logo in corner
  • White silk dustbag with white pulls, black "Coach New York" logo in corner
  • Coach 1941 Cotton dustbags (started with Spring 2016 line)

Hello my friend!

"Black silk dustbag with orange "Coach New York" in the middle (ONLY to be given with Coach Runway bags under Stuart Vevers Fall 2013 - Fall 2015)"
I didn't know that they were only given with Coach runway bags....learn something new everyday!

Beige silk dustbag with brown pulls, Coach horse/carriage logo in the corner - Also came with the Coach plaque (no horse & carriage) in corner too.

There were also a couple of dark brown silky dust bags too. Both with beige cords. One had the Coach plaque in the corner and the other had the horse & carriage in the corner, logos were done in beige.....I think these were the first replacements for the brown flannel / felt dust bags?

And I still have one of each of them.....another mini collection.

Hahah, funny How this small little things stay in our memories subconsciously.

Btw I heard that the outlet stores no longer provides any dustbags for the bags purchased there. From what I remember, they were using some sort of weird fiber textured (? Reminded me of a cotton bud) dust bag before.

I was actually kind of annoyed by this. Even if you purchase a bag that USED TO COME WITH a dustbag because it was a FP delete, you don't get it if you purchase at the outlet. What do they even do with them?

How strange. Fortunately some liner producers are now making thick cotton dust bags too logo less but similar quality to the 1941 ones - makes me laugh though -some ladies over here buy a bag then a £30-35 felt liner then a spare dust bag £15-20 and cleaning/spray stuff at £20-40 thats more than many bags are worth when selling on!!! For years all i have done is waterproof and go

That's certainly true of Bicester Village, in the UK, where my friend bought her stash of Coach bags and wallets in September. It sort of took the gloss off her first Coach experience when her new bag arrived from the stock room taped inside a plastic bag. She obviously wanted to inspect it, so we had to dig inside the plastic and remove the paper to have a look ...

Oh no, even a brandless cover would have suffice to protect her purchase. I mean I get it that the items in the outlets are heavily discounted 365days in a year but they should have probably traded the paper bag that they still provide to perhaps a cloth drawstring that can substitute both the paper bag and dust bag? That would certainly cut down on their packaging cost too.

I just find it an unpleasant sight to have a newly bought bag being stuffed without any protection into a paper bag.

Just gorgeous! Went to mylocal store hoping to see but they only had Oxblood. Ended up leaving with the new satchel. Here is a photo my SA took @ the store...will take better ones tomorrow & post.
Also attaching photos of the Oxblood Rogue. Both bags have top notch detailing!

I know this is an older post, but I was wondering how you liked your Rogue satchel after all this time. This has been on my radar for a while but they still haven't come out with new colors since last fall and I'm wondering if they just aren't that popular. Do you still have it and if so, how has it held its shape? TIA

So I won a tea rose rogue 25 off eBay and received it a few minutes ago. Here is how brand new without tags bag look like according to the seller. Am I crazy?
