I think I have the answer for this. Only the handles and key hangtag are croc. This is stock number 86744 and it's $2500. View attachment 3525769

$2500?! Are their exotic detailed bags real too, I thought they were embossed? If so that's a bit much for an embossed set of handles and a hangtag.

This particular bag is genuine crocodile trim although most Coach bags are embossed croc-effect calfskin. They also now have made to order Rogues with real crocodile handles and keyhood that are available at the new flagship store in NYC. It does seem pricey but consider that Louis Vuitton charges over $20,000 for a bag with a small panel of crocodile on it (City Steamer MM) and Hermes charges six figures for it's all crocodile Birkin bags. As the saying goes, "It's all relative".

Yes the price is understandable if it's genuine. I was shocked because I assumed it wasn't like most other Coach bags

I've read that crocodile can last a lifetime if cared for properly and, considering the price, that's as it should be. I would hope Coach would stand behind it's product, too.

I have a genuine crocodile card case from Coach. I've used it on and off for 2 years. Except for the vachetta lining in the middle pocket, which has no doubt darkened, it's looks the same as the day I bout it. It's matte crocodile, like the handles on the Rogue, and it hasn't gotten shinier or duller at all. I imagine with good care it'll last 10 years.
